I want to say a huge thank you to the incredible people behind for putting me through to the final round in the musician/DJ category in their first ever supplier awards 🥳🤘 these awards celebrate inclusive, people-centred and unique alt wedding suppliers and I'm so proud to be a part of this community.

I have so much love for everyone I've DJed for so far, your generous reviews and testimonials have helped my business to grow and you give me countless opportunities to share my weird mixes with the world 🎵🎛🤘

Good luck to everyone shortlisted, you're all amazing and fully deserve all the recognition for everything you do to make weddings a positive space for everyone 🥳

Time for another real wedding from last year, with Jen and Jack who celebrated their marriage in style at in the ultra-cool Kelham Island district in Sheffield. Just LOOK at that cosy little gallery corner I got to hang/rock out in for the night!

Their friends and family were such amazing sports, busting out all the moves and managing to last all night long on the dancefloor with the gorgeous newlyweds 😍

I absolutely loved getting to know this pair in our pre-wedding video calls, where we spent a long time comparing notes on the best music venues in their most cherished city (including the Harley, gone but not forgotten 🫡🩷), our top festivals, and the influences they wanted to weave into their special day. To say we have a lot of favourites in common is a huge understatement!

Thank you both for such a warm welcome and the chance to play in an utterly fabulous venue, you know how to put on a hell of a celebration. Huge, huge congratulations to you both and here's to a lifetime of gigs, new music discoveries and big festival weekends together 🥳🎵🙌

I've been with the Alt Wedding Fair directory since it first launched in 2024, and I'm so proud to be a part of the community of non-traditional Wedding suppliers they have built through their fairs and social networking. I've received a ton of invaluable support from the AWF team and fellow suppliers to help me grow, and stay level headed through the usual challenges of running a small business 🩷 so receiving recognition from them and the awesome couples who have found me through their platform would be a huge deal!

Wedding suppliers are selected for these awards based on five incredibly important areas - inclusivity, accessibility, customer service, sustainability, and uniqueness 🪩 and all the nominees reflect these values in spades. This means the judges don't just take our words for it from clever website copy, applications or social media posts - it's about truly making a positive change in the industry.

To receive recognition like this in my first year of business is an absolute dream 🥹 and I'm extremely grateful to every one of you who has enquired with me, booked me, or left a beautiful review of my work over the last year. Some beautiful words from Emily and Yanis who celebrated their wedding at Grangefields Barn in Derbyshire last month 🩷

A gorgeous couple inside and out, they put their absolute all into planning the perfect day for them and their guests and made sure they packed in as many special moments as possible. As if speeches weren't enough, both threw in performances with the Groom's band 🤯 and my setlist featured a host of tracks with personal significance for their loved ones.

Thank you both for an unforgettable evening... and sorry-not-sorry for the tearjerker moment ✊️♀️

I'm just reaching the end of my first year of bookings, but behind the scenes I have been plugging away to make sure my website and socials represent my commitment to inclusivity; learning from clients and industry experts about what it means to be a supplier who values safety, dignity and respect through my work; and met so many amazing people hoping to express their individuality and their most important relationships by having the weddings of their dreams 🩷🩷
