📣 Important announcement from Farmer Tom…
“I welcome the Chancellor’s ‘Great British Summer Savings’ initiative. In reducing VAT to 5% it will help make visits to attractions like York Maze more affordable for families this summer.
We have now cut ticket prices to take account of the reduced VAT rate which means visitors will on average save £3 per person on their day out at York Maze this summer. With tickets now from just £19.50 it makes a full day at York Maze with our 20 plus attractions and shows even better value.
Anyone who has already purchased tickets to visit this summer will be contacted and refunded the difference in price. We have taken a lot of bookings already and only have a small office team so we would ask customers to bear with us while we work through the refunds over the next week.
Although the Government’s scheme ends on 1st September, we know that many schools in our region don’t go back until later that week or even the following week. York Maze is staying open longer this year until Thursday 3rd September and we will extend our Great British Summer Savings prices right through until we close ensuring local families are not disadvantaged.
This year we are marking Sir David Attenborough 100 years on Planet Earth with our maze design. We open from Saturday 11th July to Thursday 3rd September 2026 after which the crop will be harvested. For details of opening times and new lower ticket prices visit our website."
