What an amazing start to the New Kind Of Cramps tour, HUGE thanks to everyone who has come to the first 3 gigs and had an awesome time, getting into every song and dancing like they’re 18 again! All we want to do is bring like minded people together and celebrate the music of Lux, Ivy and all those who made The Cramps such an iconic band, we respect every single one of them and hope our renditions help keep the spirit of those decades gone by alive and give those who never had the chance to witness their performances a glimpse into how great they were. The energy and joy filling the rooms we’ve played has been so positive, making us all feel like doing it again next year so lets kick ass in these last 3 shows in Norwich, Leeds & Bristol then see where it takes us! There’s no way that friendships of 8 years could be stopped from making this all happen, not for the want of trying to stay positive but after a certain “OldAge Werewolf” decided the 2024 Tour which had been all booked and planned for two months wasn’t good enough after having virtually zero input into all previous tours, 27 venues researched and booked without an ounce of interest on his part, a handful of the 15 who had been part of those tours couldn’t just let what we had die and they got in touch so that the former tour manager/promoter could build this string of 6 dates. Only now does he decide he wants back in after seeing all your wonderful posts and comments as well as the turn out for the first shows we have achieved. Scrambling to rebuild his “Teenage” line up after treating them worse than you would an actual wolf, his claims are laughable, even trying to take credit for some artwork which our designer created as his own work! As for needing his reputation to book venues after hosting over 200 events, how insecure do you need to be? Oh and restricting the ages of applicants, you’d think a man turning 60 next would know better... Stay Sick! 💀🖤🙀
