Across the country, we're seeing more and more local agricultural shows facing difficult decisions. Some have had to cancel this year, while others have announced it will be their final show.

These events are at the heart of our communities.
They celebrate farming, local businesses, livestock, traditional skills and bring people together for a fantastic family day out.

There are so many ways you can support Arthington Show this year:

🚜 Vintage Tractor & Machinery entries are now open!

Do you have a vintage tractor, stationary engine or agricultural machinery you'd like to display?
We'd love to welcome you to this year's Arthington Show.

For just £5 per exhibit, you'll receive entry to the display and the chance to take part in our popular Main Ring Parade in front of all our visitors.

Please note: All vintage tractors and machinery must be pre-registered online before the show.
Entries cannot be accepted on the day.

Whether your exhibit is fully restored or a well-loved working machine, come and be part of another fantastic display celebrating our agricultural heritage.

There aren’t many local agricultural shows that still hold pig classes, so if you’ve got pigs, we’d love to welcome you to Arthington Show.

These classes only continue because exhibitors support them, and we’d love to see a good turnout this year. Whether you’ve been showing for years or fancy giving it a go, everyone is welcome.

There’s still plenty of time to get your entries in for this year’s Produce, Horticulture, Arts & Craft classes at the Arthington Show.

Whether you’ve been growing veg, baking, making jam, arranging flowers or getting crafty over the summer holidays, why not enter? We have classes for all ages, so there’s something for everyone to have a go at. The Perfect summer holiday fun! 🤩

Entries close on 13th August, giving you another 10 days to add those finishing touches before Show Day on Sunday 23rd August.

Have a look through the schedule below and see what takes your fancy. We’d love to see lots of familiar faces, along with plenty of first-time exhibitors too! 🌼🍓🎂🎨

🐑 Sheep entries are now open! 🐑

We're looking forward to welcoming exhibitors back to Arthington Show on Sunday 23rd August.

After another busy year in the sheep section, we're once again offering a full range of classes including:

• Native Breeds
• Zwartbles
• Other Pure Breeds
• Dutch Spotted
• Valais Blacknose
• Butchers' Classes
• Children's Class

The Overall Supreme Sheep Championship will once again be held after all sections have been judged, with the Sheep Steward's Cup and a cash prize awarded to the Supreme Champion.

Our Horse & Pony Section is back for Arthington Show 2026, with even more classes for you to enter!

Whether you're competing for the first time or you're a regular in the show ring, we'd love to welcome you on Sunday 23rd August.

This year's classes include:

🏆 Rosettes, trophies and prize money are up for grabs across the day, making it a fantastic event for competitors of all ages and abilities.

With show season well underway, we're busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for this year's show on Sunday 23rd August.

Whether it's your first visit or you come every year, there's plenty to see and do for all ages. From livestock and horse classes to trade stands, food, shopping, horticulture, children's entertainment and our fun dog show, it's always a great day out.
