This week marks one year since we lost my dad, Greg, who co-founded The Hidden Village. There hasn't been a single day where we haven't thought about him and we miss him deeply 💔

This past year has been incredibly tough. Small businesses like ours are facing significant challenges, and dealing with our grief while continuing to run the business—especially without my dad, who was such a cornerstone of it—has been incredibly challenging for both my mum and me.

However, the loss of my dad has only fueled our determination to keep pushing forward. Greg dedicated his final year to establishing The Hidden Village, working 7 days a week running the cafe and happily greeting customers. He was proud of what we created and we are determined to keep The Hidden Village open and to not let all his hard work go to waste, or to lose a big part of Greg's legacy.

I hope that my dad would be proud of everything we have achieved this past year, including opening , and I know that he would be ever so grateful for the support all of our amazing customers have continued to show us over the past year ❤️

📢 We've been super quiet on here lately as we've been insanely busy working on our new venue in Keighley, but it's finally OPEN!

❤️ Our Keighley play café has a role-play village room alongside our Enchanted Forest Café, and we are also opening an 'Under the Sea' themed Sensory room in the coming weeks, which will be perfect for children from birth.

📍This time we have the bonus of a carpark, and we're based in Keighley town centre with superb public transport links, so we're easily accessible for anyone living in surrounding areas.
