We are absolutely gutted to announce that Break & Fox has been cancelled on 4th November @ Sheaf St. This was a decision made by the venue alone and is completely out of our control. Anyone who personally knows us knows how much time, effort & love goes into our events and we’re extremely disappointed that the show will no longer be going ahead.

Yesterday, the venue expressed their concern regarding the amount of tickets sold and therefore made the decision that the night could not go ahead and we did not have a say in this matter. We do not doubt for a minute that this event would have been busy, as previous ticket purchasing patterns show that the majority of people who support our events buy tickets either the day before, or on the night of the event.

Anyone who’s been to one of our shows knows that it’s always one hell of a party and with our dream booking Break playing through Intrinsic Audio Sound System… this would have been no exception and we were so excited to see all you crazy lot bringing the viiiibes and energy as you usually do!

We are truly sorry for any disappointment caused. It is not in our nature to let people down and we know that lots of you were really looking forward to the event and had planned to travel from around the UK for it. We had an incredible sound system locked in, some wicked DJs, performers and plans to turn Sheaf St into a jungle in true Frequencies fashion.

Although we personally wouldn’t have cancelled the event, we completely respect that the venue has made a decision which they feel is best for them.

It is so important to buy tickets in advance (if you are in a position to do so) as local music venues and promoters need you more than ever right now. The art’s industry is seriously struggling across the board and we cannot give up.

Frequencies is now going on a little hiatus from events so that we can focus on our label (we’ve got loads of new music coming out!) and DJing / Producing… we’ll be accepting bookings as usual! Holla :)

We throw these events purely for the love of music and bringing everyone together… we’re still not over how much fun our birthday party was last week! Although we’re going on a little break now, you can be sure that we’ll come back with a bang in 2024.

Anyways, please remember to support your local venues and events by purchasing tickets as soon as you can to ensure we can keep the scene alive
