Growing up in Argentina, amongst its vibrant cultural elements - Lumière became interested in
music from a very early age thanks to the fact that her father had a large collection of music cassettes
from the late 70’s and 80’s with which she spent afternoons listening as a favorite hobby.
In 2011 she made the decision to move from Buenos Aires to Barcelona, to pursue her drive of digging vinyl and spinning records.
Quickly she found herself immersed in the house music and techno scene in Barcelona, was not long after she started playing for local parties. Her journey to building a career as a DJ while dedicating herself to a unique style and sound began.
As a DJ she’s very eclectic, her style varies between Techno and Electro with an Acid vein, although she
also likes to flirt with different styles and genres depending on the situation.
As an artist, Lumiere has a specific intuition for the right record on the dance floor, where she manages
to build a session in a unique way that engages the listener to the last vinyl.
She’s co-founder of her own music platform, record label and event series Cymatix with her friend and
DJ partner Anah, with its residency at Les Enfants in Barcelona.
Today she plays among the underground venues and festivals in Europe, including Club Der Visionaere,
Hoppettose, Renate, Input, Les Enfant, Fabric, OFF Sonar. Opera Festival to name a few.
