A simple carefree thought to let my beloved Murphy have some fun time off the lead while climbing Criffel...ended with an emergency trip to the vet when he sliced his leg on something unknown in the long heather. 20 stitches needed.

The vet also said with a higher reporting of Adders in Scotland this year we were lucky it didnt end worse than it did!

ALWAYS be aware of where you are and always go prepared.
I packed plasters and paracetamol. !!! What did i think i was gonna fix with that!!
My friend thankfully had bandages, scissors and tape. We were able to strap Murphys injury to continue the descent.

Today feeling thankful Murphy is back to his usual self!
