London ➡️ Leeds 🚄

Some of the Zentive team travelled to Leeds earlier this week to attend Leeds. Of course we spoke about all things sustainability, in addition to finding out about new and upcoming venues we can’t wait to propose for our events.

It was great to see and meet with so many suppliers:

The – a beautiful venue for parties, corporate meetings and celebrations of up to 475 people, nestled into stunning grounds in the heart of Holmes Chapel.

Lee & Genevieve left thier desks last Friday to attend the annual De Vere All Agency Quiz hosted by and scope out the location for our future events 👀🎉

It was amazing to see the beautiful grounds covered in a blanket of snow, with the inside of the venue the perfect environment to warm up after a winter walk.

The evening events were a roaring success too, with a delicious feast, and an interactive quiz which included a Bake Off Challenge, The Cube and a Golden Potato 🥔 (IYKYK). We ended the evening as all good ones should ... on the dance floor 🕺 💃

We’ll definitely be using the De Vere Cranage Estate in the future for upcoming events...watch this space 👀

In just under 2 months, the Paris 2024 organising committee will set out to deliver the most ambitious and sustainable Olympic and Paralympic Games yet.

Described as “more responsible, more sustainable, more united and more inclusive”, we took a dive into the sustainability initiatives of this groundbreaking event to uncover the valuable lessons we can apply to our own event planning endeavours.

We’re delighted to announce that Isaac Murray will be joining Zentive Agency as Lead Sustainability Consultant. Isaac will be developing our Sustainable Event Consulting division, providing strategic guidance and support to our existing and new clients, whilst also cementing our own sustainability standards.

A skilled consultant who aids businesses and event organisations in transitioning to regenerative operations. Isaac also impresses with his exceptional salsa dancing abilities and has the whole team intrigued by his signature ackee and saltfish dish, which he promises to deliver at our next away day. The UK government has committed to a net-zero target by 2050, meaning that any greenhouse gas emissions that are produced by the country must be offset to equate to zero-carbon entering the earth’s atmosphere.
