Happy Easter everybody - Been a bit lazy on the recording front recently as got a new toy that I'm delving into... Think the setup (with the new toy) is getting there now. So expect some shiny new music incoming soon.

If you're a synth noodler yourself, seriously consider getting one of these mixers (Or the SQ5 if you must have 96k recording, that's what I wanted really but sometimes you have to give in to wants according to availability - boo) - It's a whole new world compared to playing through a DJ mixer or any analog mixer tbf.

Being able to trigger mixer scene changes with pattern changes from hardware opens up a mix per pattern functionality, much more akin to the way you may mix in a DAW. Really clean convertors from initial tests and as cheap as an interface with this much IO. Doesn't really allow for automation, but you can do that with your sequencer, I s'pose.

I'll put up a review and some suggested workflows for synth bashing once I got a mix recorded on it if there's any interest.
