[12 Days until submissions close - Why run a larp at BOX?]

People organise larps for lots of reasons, and we want to give you the space to organise or create what you want (within limits). With that in mind, why would you want to run a larp at BOX?

- To run without the admin of finding participants and venue. We sort all that.

- To give something entirely experimental a go

- To test and enjoy something creative - a chunk of the participants at larp festivals are always keen to try something new.

We'll be running a profit-share system with organisers, with the option of receiving an equal split of leftover income after covering venue costs, shared between event and larp organisers. This amount depends on ticket sales, and is likely to be from £0 - £50 and if you organise a larp, you will get a free spot in a larp in the other timeslot if you want it.

It’s incredibly rewarding, and we’re here for you.

Submit your Larp to The Smoke! 🏙️☁️

Hello everyone! Our Cousin Larp Festival The Smoke is happening 8-10th January at Theatre Deli in Hackney, London and, like us, they also have their call for larps open right now. They are looking for character-driven larps that can be played in a single room with minimal set dressing that last 2-4 hours. It's a really brilliant festival and inspired a lot of what we do here at BOX.

🩷 BOX IS BACK - CALL FOR LARPS OPEN 🖤

BOX: Northern Larp Festival will return on Saturday 27th February 2027 at HEART in Leeds, and we’re looking for Larps to fill the day!

We’re open to Larps for 5, 10, 15 or 30 participants, as long as they can fit neatly into a four hour slot. You could bring a game that’s run before, or something totally brand new. We’re especially keen to programme a wide range of styles and genres ✨

Something we're experimenting with this year is a profit-share system. There will be the option to receive an equal split of leftover income after covering venue costs, shared out equally between event and larp organisers. This amount depends on ticket sales, and is likely to be from £0 - £50.
