We’re busy setting up and unloading all the barrels today! Hope you’re all thirsty!
Eastnor ChilliFest is just 24 hours away! ⏰
To make sure you have as awesome a day as possible … read on for some chilli top tips:
🌶 CASH… Please bring cash!! We are usually a cash-free site and we have boosted our wi-fi for the weekend but with lots of reliance on the wi-fi in our remote part of the countryside, we want to make sure you can still purchase your chilli goodies if the techie stuff doesn’t go according to plan and our trader’s card machines don’t work! We don’t have a cash point onsite and can’t offer cash-back so please bring some paper spending money, just in case!
🌶 TICKETS… If you’re planning to visit and haven’t yet booked your tickets, please book as soon as you can to avoid any possible disappointment. Tickets will be available online until they sell out – tickets will not be available on the gate. If you arrive without a ticket, you will be directed to our website to purchase your tickets online (subject to availability).
🌶 PRIVILEGE CARD HOLDERS… ChilliFest is included in your Privilege Card membership but please book your tickets online so that we know you’re coming!
🌶 GETTING HERE… Ignore your Sat Nav as soon as you pick up the brown tourist signs for Eastnor Castle and follow these instead!
🌶 PARKING…Parking will be in our main visitor overflow car park and also in Eastnor Deer Park. On your approach to Eastnor, marshals will direct vehicles into one of these parking areas. Once you have parked, entry to Eastnor ChilliFest will either be through our main visitor entrance or via the front drive, depending on where you have parked. Accessible parking will be in the main Visitor Car Park.
🌶 ARRIVING… Tickets will be checked on arrival so please make sure you’ve taken a screenshot of your ticket barcode, downloaded your booking confirmation email or printed out your ticket confirmation.
🌶 DOGS… are very welcome on leads (please bear in mind it will be busy though and there will be lots of spicy food around)
🌶 CHILDREN… are very welcome too and we’ve got lots going on to entertain our Mini-ChilliFesters!
🌶 PICNICS… are welcome (although we dare you not be tempted by the amazing food that will be on offer in the Courtyard and the Tea Room!). Picnic tables are scattered around the grounds or bring a blanket to sit on.
🌶 FOOTWEAR… it’s a little soggy underfoot in some areas around the grounds so we recommend you wear waterproof shoes/boots to keep your toes dry and toasty!
🌶 BAGS… Don’t forget to bring a shopping bag for all of your chilli goodies!
🌶 CHILLI EATING COMPETITION… This takes place on the Valley Lawn at 2.45pm each day – not to be missed!
