A little bit of 35mm from a very special wedding 🤍🖤

One of my closest friends, Sam, marrying Rosie, with their little bump along for the adventure, eloping in beautiful North Wales. ✨

I took an old vintage camera along with me and a roll of black & white film. The shutter was broken turns out that’s exactly why I love these so much.

There’s such beauty in the imperfections of 35mm. The light leaks, the grain, the crooked frames, the moments that aren’t quite perfect but somehow feel even more special because of it.

And nothing quite beats sending a roll away to be developed and having absolutely no idea what you’re going to get back. That little bit of anticipation is part of the magic for me. 🖤🎞️ The Liquid Light Lab

Two families, two cultures, one celebration.

One of my favourite parts of Jess & Pramesh’s wedding at Bredenbury Court was watching their families come together — from the colour, music and dancing of Pramesh’s arrival through to their beautiful outdoor Hindu ceremony.

There was so much happening everywhere I looked: generations dancing together, saris and lehengas amongst suits and summer dresses, clouds of colour, embraces between family and friends, and so many little moments in between. I especially loved watching both families joining in and embracing each other’s traditions, from the celebrations on arrival to the exchanging of garlands.

A beautiful fusion of cultures, but more than anything, a celebration of two families becoming one.

I was also heavily pregnant when I photographed this wedding, so I was very grateful to have my good friend James from Warwickshire Vibrant Multi-Cultural Weddings | James Watson alongside me as my second shooter for the day. ✨

We’re not used to having our photo taken… what do we actually do?”

Probably one of the questions I get asked most when I speak to couples.

And my answer is always the same: you don’t need to know. That’s my job.

Being in front of a camera can naturally feel intimidating, especially if you’ve never been professionally photographed before. And your wedding day is probably not the day you want to raw dog having your photo taken and simply hope for the best 😂

I use gentle guidance throughout your couple portraits to help you look and feel your best, without putting you into stiff poses or making anything feel forced. I’ll guide you with where to stand, what to do with your hands, how to move and where to look when you need it, then give you enough space for the natural moments to happen in between.

With over 10 years’ experience as a professional photographer, a background in fashion photography and years spent teaching, giving people direction comes very naturally to me. I genuinely love helping my couples go from “we’re so awkward in photos” to actually enjoying being photographed.

So whether we’re wandering the grounds of an English country house or escaping somewhere a little warmer in the South of France, Italy or Portugal, you’re never going to be left standing there wondering what on earth you’re supposed to do.

Relaxed, natural photographs with a little editorial edge — and plenty of guidance when you need it. 🤍

After two beautiful girls together, they decided it was time to make it official. Eloping in Warwick on their way to Ascot for the weekend 🥂

Just the two of them, a couple of witnesses and the loveliest little ceremony at St John’s, followed by ch*****ne in the park and a wander through Warwick’s cobbled streets towards the castle.

No big guest list. No huge plans. Just a really relaxed afternoon celebrating the two of them 💕

Hanna & Rhodri. England meets Wales 🤍

A day right on the border, bringing two families and two cultures together at Calmed Barns. A converted working farm with old stone, corrugated barns, open fields and views stretching across both the English and Welsh mountains.

And what a day it was. Emotional one minute, completely chaotic the next. Napkins in the air, pints flowing, a dance floor that started early and barely stopped, and somehow even a red kite made an appearance.

So much love, personality and energy from beginning to end!

An intimate wedding in the Cotswolds 🤍

After making things official at Cheltenham Registry Office, these two headed to Stow-on-the-Wold for a beautifully relaxed celebration at The Porch House — England’s oldest inn.

Ch*****ne in the sunshine, a wander through the streets of Stow and an intimate dinner with their closest people. I loved how personal and relaxed the whole day felt.

The old Cotswold stone, cosy interiors, beautiful summer light and all those thoughtful little details made The Porch House such a gorgeous setting for their celebration.
