It's hard to see the sacrifices of little businesses .
Over the years we have had some quite significant challenges which have slowed my growth and progression .
But I have never let anyone down.
When you're a one man band like me - if you have a booking , that's it . You are doing that wedding , event , bouquet no matter what !
I've had children in tow who've been poorly and unable to go into childcare.
I've had to set aside my own grief to celebrate others happiness on their special days.
I've had to check myself straight into the hospital after finishing the job .
Small businesses everywhere are doing the same juggling act. Trying to stay afloat .
Trying to be a good mum , wife , friend , daughter .
And looking back on it all I'm probably doing a decent job .
This is a little appreciation post for what I've come through. But also an appreciation post for all you lovely lot giving me the work to get me through the tough times. To distract from the bad to help celebrate in your good times. Despite it being the last thing I have wanted to do at that moment , I cannot help but think having the flowers helps get back on track .
Looking forward to some positive changes in the business coming ! ( Yes the studio is still on its way to being finished )
Hopefully we will be announcing an opening day soon for you all to come visit my new space where I get to potter with flowers 💕🩷
