The Caretaker's poetry corner here at The Tea Garden.
Tiny Neighbours.
At the bottom of the field
In the stinging nettle patch
There is a little house
A roof made out of thatch.
The only way you know
It is even there
Late in the evening
Smoke rises through the air.
He's lit his little fire
To keep it nice and warm
With little tiny logs
He stacks on his lawn.
He's always very busy
He never seems to stop
Sometimes you see him sitting
Upon a mushroom top.
He is very friendly
But he likes to be alone
It's nice this little elf
Has made this place his home.
