Today we remember and celebrate a very dear friend, Antony "Tony" May. Such a beautiful service and so proud of his children and family on this emotional day. We toast your memory my friend with your finger of Rum and "Caretaker coffee" many a laugh had on the bench talking s**t.
We saw you fly, white wings glinting in the sun when we said goodnight to you today, we raise a glass old friend, gone but not forgotten 💙

Well what a beautiful, glorious day, make sure you slap on the sun cream and a hat for the next few days,🌞
The Tea Garden once again is fully booked for Lunch on Sunday and most are sitting outside in the lovely weather.
Please remember we are closed Monday and Tuesday but open again on Wednesday 27th.
Enjoy your bank holiday weekend if you're lucky enough to have it off. Myself I will have paint brush in hand painting our new toilet room, so no rest for the wicked 😉😉. Have a good one from the Tea Garden gang xx

Evening all ☺️, Kev and myself would like to say a big thankyou to Chris and Chas, two of the curaters from "RAF Davidstow memorial museum" for sparing their time to come and chat with our men's group today and to their lovely wives for dropping them off, as it is a men's group they popped up to The Kings Head for a lovely afternoon with Tea and cake leaving the gentleman to chat away to the Lads. The room wasn't silent for a minute with all the talking going on not even when they were eating cake themselves 😂😁. If you have not been to the Museum, it really must be on your to-do list!! Once again thankyou so much, and thankyou to all the chaps that are growing the men's group 😊 Kev and Julie at The Tea Garden ###

Evening all ☺️, Kev has just finished the washing up, after another private family booking as a surprise "Afternoon Tea" for a special mum with The Tea Garden trimmings for her Birthday. Surrounded by friends and family that they hadn't seen for a while, the whole afternoon was spent hearing laughter from the Shanty, makes the job all worthwhile ☺️☺️ the kids were adorable, so well behaved and I bet they were all asleep on the way home, thankyou for booking "The Tea Garden" for Mum's special day, Happy birthday to Mandy Hosking, beautiful family and friends ### The Tea Garden gang xx

Beautiful family in the The Tea Garden today for a private family function, thankyou Jason and Alison for booking us to spoil your lovely family, requested a full buffet spread with a side of my meatballs in sauce, baked potatoes, chips (blessed by the victor 😁), range of desserts, including raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake, mixed fruit crumble, and a lovely lady had a birthday, so Coffee and Walnut cake, Happy birthday Roz, your lovely young man made friends with our Tea Garden Cats, said hello to our Donkeys and was an absolute dream to have in the Tea Garden, Thankyou for choosing us xx The Tea Garden gang xx

Hi all ☺️ we have the most wonderful bespoke old fashioned Eatery on the edge of Bodmin moor and to avoid disappointment booking is recommended.
April has started busy so here's a few dates that we will be closed for our customer private functions,
Saturday 4th closed Men's group.
Sunday 5th closed customer family lunch.

Monday and Tuesday closed.

Wednesday and Thursday open 1 till 6 ( kitchen closes at 5:30) Tea Garden closes at 6 pm.

Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th closed for Booked functions.

Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th closed.

OPEN Wednesday 15th to Saturday 18th 1 till 6 unless bookings are placed.

Further customer bookings will be displayed later in the month.

Have the most wonderful Easter whatever you your getting up to 😘 xx
