I am so excited to be able to announce that Green House has some fabulous new owners. Thank you to everyone who got in touch and who shared this post. I've been absolutely overwhelmed by the response and the love from you all.
So who is it? I know you are all dying to know! Well I can tell you that it's going to be amazing....the name will change and here's a clue....BK.
On the 22nd of February from 7pm we will be welcoming BK and I will be saying my goodbyes. There will be tempting tasters from BK and a free glass of bubbly to celebrate for the first 20 people who comment below!

🌿🌿🌿Exciting News…. Get yourself a cuppa….long post warning🌿🌿🌿
🌿 Green House is up for grabs!!! After nearly 3 years, I am moving on to new pastures. It’s been an incredible journey so far, Green House has been so much more than just a café serving delicious food and drink…it’s been a place where positive connections have been created, bringing wonderful people and opportunities together. Green House has hosted some wonderful charity events, created some great evening events and enjoyed being part of many celebrations. Along with those successes, it has entailed many hours of hard work which is pretty crazy because I’m also a single parent of 2 teenagers and I have arrived at a point where my family must be my priority.
🌿 As many of you will know, running a business is a rollercoaster (especially your first) but the rewards are immense and often other opportunities come from the experience. More recently I have been involved in more events and workshops working alongside Clare Hinks ( Medium and Speaker) . We have created Feel Good Festivals which are one day events that bring lots of fantastic local traders and therapists together. Our combined experience and vast network of totally cool people prompted the creation of these events and we have a burning desire to spread the “feel good” to as many people as possible across Devon and Cornwall. Its immense fun organising these events and they are becoming very successful and more frequent so more of my time is being spent in this direction.
🌿 Back to the interesting part…I’ve had lots of feedback from customers and friends who want Green House to re-open (we have been closed during the days over winter) Every week I’m told how its loved & missed so I’m keen to give someone else the reins and I’m inviting offers of interest.
🌿 Maybe you are interested or know someone perfect for this opportunity, who has the time and vision to continue where I have left off. Creating this business was my dream for so many years and I expect that there is someone out there with a similar dream. I would love to help that happen for someone.
🌿 Now on to the serious stuff. While you will need some financial input/cashflow to take on this business, I am far more interested in helping the right person or group to do something special. You will have a vision for the business and some funds to get you started, the rest will be agreed between us providing you are a good fit. Ideally you will be willing and eager to put in the time and make a difference to the community. I’m open to younger people applying as I know that opportunities can be pretty hard to come by when you have little experience or money and just a dream in your mind.
🌿 I cannot begin to express how much this business meant to me. I’ve learnt so much and been so blessed with the amount of support from so many wonderful people in and around Launceston. Green House is such a lovely business and I am on a mission for it to continue!
