🌿Congratulations to Jason and Lauren who got married at the beginning of August. 🌿

It's so lovely to get messages from brides after their wedding to say how pleased they were with the flowers.

"'I just want to thank you so much for such lovely flowers! I had soo many compliments on them and you really took my vision and made it a reality ❤️ so thank you again."

Lauren wanted the bridesmaids to all have individual colours in their bouquets and then her bridal bouquet to be a mix of all the colours (Pink, Blue, Lavender, Cream/buttery yellow, White/Green and Peach).

Congratulations to Martyn and Alice who got married yesterday.

My car was full of the prettiest bouquets and buttonholes when I delivered them to Stennack Farm Weddings

The reality of a flower farmer/farmers wife.... delivering beautiful home grown wedding flowers in the morning, then drenching and sorting sheep in the afternoon! 😆

DIY wedding flower buckets that were collected this morning, ready for a beautiful wedding this weekend.

The buckets were packed full of seasonal blooms for Alice and Martyn to turn them into their own wedding flowers to decorate Stennack Farm Weddings .

There’s something so lovely about seeing the flowers leave here knowing they’re going to be part of such a special day.

Wishing you both the most wonderful wedding, I will be making up their bouquets and buttonholes tomorrow ready to be delivered on Saturday.

This is my last wedding of the year!

The brief for Jack and Hattie's wedding this weekend was to have a mixture of pinks and peaches with pops of darker colours along with lots of Dahlia's!

I delivered;
4x DIY Flower buckets along with bud vases.
4x Foliage bundles to decorate the Marquee.
1x Bridal Bouquet.
6x Bridesmaid's Bouquets.
9x Buttonholes.
2x Wrist Courage's.
8x Aisle Ends for the Church.

*Birthday flowers!*

Even though the summer has been full of wedding flowers, there are still lots of individual bouquets being delivered as well.

This bouquet was mainly packed full of beautiful Dahlias which are the perfect late summer/early Autumn flowers.

Yesterday, I delivered some beautiful DIY buckets of flowers to Boconnoc Estate for Ed and Hanna’s wedding.

I then spent the morning creating lots of lovely floral arrangements in vases alongside the Mother of the Groom and her friend, ready to decorate the house ready for the wedding.

The last month has certainly been a testing one!

The hot weather has meant extra hours spent watering, although now we are on a hose pipe ban I am trying to stretch the watering out as much as possible.

At the same time, we’ve had the worry of blue tongue affecting our sheep on the farm, along with many other farmers in the South West.
This has made things especially tough, I have also worked a lot of extra hours at the vets to help out.

Farming and growing flowers definitely isn’t always the pretty side you see in the pictures — there are long days, lots of challenges.

I have also met several new brides for 2027 weddings which are so lovely and give me hope for next year's flowers.
If you'd like me to grow flowers for your wedding next year please get in touch as the dates are starting to fill up.

Congratulations to Lauren and Jason who got married this weekend.

I didn't get a chance to take many photos of the flowers but hopefully Brooks Photography will share some better photos than I took!!

We have had such a busy week at work in the vets and on the farm and I'm very behind on 'flower admin.'
Please bear with me, I will try and reply to everyone by the end of the week!

Unfortunately I have made a late decision not to attend the show with flowers this year.

With the very dry weather we are having I need to prioritise flowers for a wedding I have booked this weekend and with the recent outbreak of Blue Tongue in the area I will be helping out my colleagues at Castle Vets Farm on their stand at the show instead.

The show will be a little different this year without livestock due to the outbreak but I'm sure there are lots of other lovely things to do.

✨ The wait is almost over.

Tomorrow morning the gates open, and Launceston Show 2026 begins!
