Not flower related but wanted to spread the word for a local lad
Please come along and support Callum Beattie he's amazing and puts on brilliant gigs...here's a wee message from his big sister Louise I wanted to share with you all ❤️
It’s been a wee while since I posted about my amazing wee brother, but the last time I received so much love and support from you all that I’m trying my luck again.
Callum Beattie is an Edinburgh singer, songwriter who started plying his trade in the local pubs and clubs at the age of 17. He’s worked tirelessly for years, writing and performing his own music and has never given up on his dream of one day playing to thousands of people at one of Scotland’s biggest venues.
Once upon a time, someone said to him, ‘people like us don’t achieve dreams like that.’ He wrote a song about it!
It’s not been an easy journey, after being pushed in a direction he didn’t want to go in, he finally separated from his record label to give him creative and financial autonomy. What he has achieved in the time he has been independent is truly remarkable.
Well some dreams do come true and he’s now got his first headline gig, playing in front of 14,000 people at the Hydro in November. It’s such a massive deal for him and the culmination of years of hard graft. He’s not only my wee brother, he’s also the most talented, genuine and loving person I know. He’s involved in multiple local charities and gives back at every opportunity.
He truly deserves this success, but selling 14,000 tickets is not easy! The tickets go on general sale today through Ticketmaster and other sites. It would mean the world to him and me if he sold out. If you’ve not heard of him, go and have a listen, and if you have, please consider buying a ticket to support a local lad. I promise you’ll have the best night out!
Thanks lovelies, Lou x
