We're hosting an event in Larne to raise money for Alzheimers Society, if you can't attend and would love to donate, please do! We know it's tough economic times just now, and with Christmas on the horizon, it's a big ask. If you can spare a little to help us get rid of Alzheimers or at least make life easier for sufferers and carers alike.

Hi guys and gals. We loved all the great messages and all the love shown after our recent retirement announcement. As always, there has to be an encore, and this is ours. Many of you will know that Roy and me (Jim) lost our mum Marjorie to Altzheimers earlier this year. Marjorie obviously was grandmother to Paul also.
At the funeral I vowed to run a fundraiser at some point this year, and the time is here.
On 19th November we will hold a night of musical entertainment in Larne Bowling and Lawn Tennis Club. Headlining on the night will be local legends Hillbilly Biltong Band. The scourge of Altzheimers has affected members of their band too.
Support on the night will be Cavehill Belfast , The Bass Man and HER , and local punk legends Organ Grinders . They too have been struck with tragedy this year with the death of Bassist Stephen 'Gus' Craig. A true gentleman taken too early.
A great nights entertainment for £5.
Please come and support and help raise money for a really worthwhile cause. All monies raised for this event will be split between Altzheimers Society and a charity, or cause nominated by Stephen's family.

As you'll all have noticed, we've been very quite in Levels land over the last few months. This project, which just started out as buying a PA for the band I was playing in at the time, evolved into what became Levels PA. Soon we were helping our good friend Joanne Rodgers with her very successful RockTherapy NI project helping bring young exciting musicians to the fore.

Next thing we knew, we were working with Roll With It - The Ultimate OASIS Experience . Over 100 shows with them all over the country spanning 7 years (minus the pandemic years).

In the meantime we still managed to work with many, many other fabulous artists locally, and had countless cracking great nights.

Baleful Creed , Pretty Cartel , Resurrection Stone Roses Tribute , Dea Matrona , Symply Skynyrd , Barrelhouse Dogs , Hillbilly Biltong Band, Cavehill Belfast, to name but a few of the great acts we've worked with recently.

There are many more, and to them, we are also greatful for the wonderful memories.

Alas, it's time to turn the gear off and move forward with a 'quieter' life!

A combination of different family priorities, old age, and a desire to get back on the stage (especially Roy and me, Jim). The days of carrying and lifting heavy gear about the country are over for us. Anything heavier than my guitar and a pair of drumsticks for Roy is not the future! Music is though! It's in our blood and will remain so until we can no longer physically do it.

To all of you out there who have made the Levels journey amazing and fun over the past years, we salute you and wish you all the best for your futures! We have the best, brightest and most talented collection of musicians locally and the future is bright indeed!

It's great to know that, although we never saw ourselves as real contenders in the local PA hire game, we enjoyed our little slice of it immensely. There are many great PA hire company's out there, each more than capable of looking after the needs of everyone. Event Tech NI Culbertson Music Coleraine Baird Sound Systems to name but a few of the best around at the moment.

Let's hope we see some of you out there and maybe share a stage soon too!

A great night had by all in Portstewart! It's hard to beat an outdoor gig at The Witches Hat with local legends Cellar Door. The weather was kind and the crowd was huge. A couple of coffees from Bob N Berts, Portstewart Promenade helped! Thanks to Gary Anderson for the opportunity!

The end of an era tonight. Potentially our last ever show with our good friends Roll With It. As we reduce our workload this year to concentrate on family and gigging with our own bands, this marks a big point in the process. With almost 110 shows with these amazing guys behind us, it's a sad time for us, but we look forward to new challenges ahead.

Paul, Roy and me have had a ball with these guys over the last 7 years. We wish them continued success and will always be supporting them with everything they do.
