A wee reminder about theatre etiquette…

With the recent reports about disruption at Wicked in London, it’s worth remembering that a little consideration makes a big difference—whether you’re in the West End or here at The Dobbie Hall, Larbert

People come to enjoy a performance, and those on stage and behind the scenes work hard to make it special. 🥰

When attending a show, please:

📱 Silence your phone and keep it tucked away. Only take photos or film if the organisers allow it.
🤫 Save conversations for the interval.
🎶 Leave the singing to the cast, unless you’re invited to join in!
🤝 Treat performers, staff, volunteers and fellow audience members with respect.

Laugh, clap, cheer at the right moments and enjoy yourselves—that’s what live entertainment is all about!

We’ve got a busy run-up to the end of the year, with sold-out events and private functions filling the diary too! Here’s a taste of ticketed events coming up

Thank you to Bobta at Gulnar Tandoori for his generous £400 donation following our fundraising evening on the 21st September 2026! 👏

Thank you to the Bobta and all the staff for being so lovely and looking after everyone so well, and to everyone who bought a ticket and to all the walk-ins who popped in for a curry too—it all added up and helped support the hall! 💛

It was lovely to see the fundraising night featured in the Falkirk Herald too! 📰

We’re thinking we should do this again... purely for fundraising purposes, of course. The curry is just a bonus! 😉🍛

Thank you from all of us at Dobbie Hall Trust!
