With the annual Somerset Levels winter floods now behind us, a hint of spring is finally in the air here at Almonry Barn and we are so excited for the wedding season ahead 🥂💍
Nestled in the historic village of Muchelney, this remarkable 13th-century barn once formed part of Muchelney Abbey, whose monastic roots date back to the late 7th century. Just opposite stands the beautiful Church of St Peter & St Paul, with Saxon origins and much of its current form dating from the 15th century, creating a setting steeped in centuries of Somerset history.
As the gardens begin to spring into life and preparations inside and out gather pace, this truly special venue is ready to welcome another year of unforgettable weddings ❤️
