Civil Ceremony/Partnership License ⁉️ NO STRESS GUIDE
A little post dedicated to civil ceremonies/partnerships and things to consider and ask your venue/wedding planner when incorporating a civil ceremony or partnership on your wedding day.

1. The venue must be licensed for civil/partnership marriages. If they are not, they can do so but it will cost the venue a fee to become licensed/approved.
2. Depending on the county and licensing agreements, locations to host the ceremony at an agreed venue may differ. ie specific outdoor and indoor spaces.
3. Guest capacity may vary depending on locations within an approved and licensed venue.
4. Civil Ceremonies take approximately 30 minutes depending on readings and vows. You will book and confirm a time with your local registry office and this will need to be adhered too! Registrars will arrive early to conduct interviews prior to your ceremony but the ceremony will begin on the agreed time.
5. Registrars often have a number of ceremonies on the same day. Lateness is not an option for these ceremonies!!
