The perfect ceremony backdrop 🤍🌸

We loved creating this set up. Using the flowers alongside the gorgeous rustic backdrop of the barn to create a really beautiful space for saying I do 🤍

The two floral urns frame the ceremony perfectly, while the flowers along the table and down the aisle bring everything together without taking away from the stunning surroundings.

And the best bit? After the ceremony, the flowers can be moved and reused around your reception ✨

15 YEARS OF THE VILLAGE FLORIST 🧡🥂

Today we’re taking a little moment to look back and realise just how far we’ve come.

15 years of early mornings, late nights, freezing cold flower deliveries, endless buckets to clean, weddings to set up, funerals to create for, busy Christmases, crazy Valentine’s Days… and everything in between.

And if we’re being completely honest, it hasn’t always been easy.

There have been incredibly hard days. Days when the hours were long, the pressure was high and we wondered how on earth we’d keep going. Running a small business isn’t just about the pretty flowers you see on Instagram. It’s the early starts, the physical graft, the financial pressure, missed weekends, cancelled plans and constantly putting the business first.

But then there are the moments that make every single bit of it worth it ❤️

The brides who trust us with their wedding flowers. Families who choose us to help celebrate or remember someone they love. Customers who have been coming back to us for years. Seeing our flowers bring someone a little bit of happiness. And knowing that something we’ve built has become part of so many people’s special moments.

15 years ago, we took a huge leap of faith.

15 years later, we’re still here. Still working hard. Still learning. Still creating. Still putting our hearts into every single order.

And we genuinely couldn’t have done it without our amazing customers, past and present 🥹🌸

So here’s to 15 years of The Village Florist — the highs, the lows, the chaos, the early mornings, the late nights, the laughter, the tears and, most importantly, the flowers. 🌷
