We’re so excited to have one of our favourite British artists lined up for Stonewell Spring Delicatessen & Wine Bar in November: the incredible Ags Connolly!

A traditional country artist from Oxfordshire, England, Ags Connolly is widely considered to be one of the best singer-songwriters in the genre ever to emerge from the UK.

In an era when the pop and rock incarnations of country music are enjoying a surge in popularity, Ags is known as a staunch defender of the genre’s traditional roots. Building on that foundation, a rapidly growing fanbase has seen his songwriting become recognised as outstanding in any category.

We’re very excited to have Paul Armer and The Dawn Chorus playing for us at Stonewell Spring Delicatessen & Wine Bar on 16th July! Tickets for this show are available now on Eventbrite!

Paul Armer & The Dawn Chorus have a rare combination of honest, meaningful songwriting and virtuosic instrumental talent. Already no stranger to the folk scene, Paul Armer has been making waves on the bluegrass circuit and wowing audiences up and down the country. The Dawn Chorus was formed when the four met at one of the UK’s finest traditional bluegrass festivals and went on to win the scratch-band competition.

It was immediately obvious they had something special and they’ve been working non-stop ever since, writing new music and refining their sound. Paul Armer & The Dawn Chorus released their debut EP, Heartaches and Mistakes, on November 14th, following it up with a nationwide tour supporting American, chart-topping, bluegrass/hip-hop fusion band Gangstagrass.

Thrilled to have Damon Kilcawley and Robbie Caswell performing for us on 7th March at The Quarterhouse Lancaster!

Drawing from the back catalogue of the American songbook, Caswell & Kilcawley perform songs about love, hardship, heartache and adventure. Switching seamlessly between instruments, their sets swing between meticulously arranged ballads to high-octane bluegrass classics with soaring vocals and expert musicianship.

This event is free entry but has limited capacity; book a table at www.thequarterhouse.co.uk/book to avoid disappointment!
