Starting outside the Visitor Information Centre (where you can purchase tickets), the Tudor & Stuart Tour of Chester at 1:30pm.

October will be the last month you'll get to explore Chester with Myles Mason (unless booking him privately) until spring 2027.

The Filthy Chester Tour at 6pm today will, from November onwards, continue monthly in a slightly longer format than before to make the most of the dark nights.

Tomorrow, on Saturday 3rd, there will be Georgian & Regency Tours of Lancaster meeting at Market Square at 11am and 2pm - tickets can be booked online at www.livehistory.co.uk.

October will be the second to last month you'll get to explore Lancaster with Johnny Eccleston (unless booking him privately) until spring 2027.

After nearly five years, Live History will be implementing some changes to the way it runs next year.

Join Johnny Eccleston for the Georgian & Regency Tour of Lancaster this Saturday 3rd October in Market Square at 11am or 1pm.

Explore Lancaster during the Georgian age with a coachman of ill repute, resplendent in historical costume, replicas and even original items from the city's past.

Tours usually run around ninety minutes.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person in cash on the day.

This will be the second to last public tour of the year but Johnny can be booked privately through the contact form on our website www.livehistory.co.uk, should you wish to find out what we at Live History do for local heritage in the north-west.

Featuring a costumed guide, complete with historical replicas and even original items.
