Edible Raw Human Meat
By Psycho Kev
With Halloween fast approaching, now is a great time to freak out your friends and family, and the best treats are the ones that are not only truly grotesque but are also believable and enjoyable by everyone after they have been shocked.
These macabre munchies may look horrifying, but they are actually just Rice Krispie cakes with red food colouring.
What makes them next level is the edible faux blood splatter and the butcher shop platter they are served on.
Follow along and frighten the whole gang with raw meat Rice Krispies. Ready? Let's scare!
Supplies:
To make edible Raw Meat platters you will need:
• 6 cups puffed rice cereal
• 16oz. bag marshmallows
• 3 tbsp butter
• Dollop of peanut butter (optional)
• Blob of corn syrup
• Red food dye
• Blob of chocolate syrup
• Styrofoam butcher plates
You can obtain Styrofoam trays online (Amazon) or you may try asking at your local grocery store or butchers. Just ask nicely :)
One batch filled approx. 4 Trays.
Make Rice Krispie Treats:
1. On low heat, melt butter and add all the marshmallows. Stir until the marshmallows have completely melted.
2. (OPTIONAL) Add a good-sized scoop of smooth Peanut butter to the butter and marshmallow mix. Once a consistent mix is achieved add red food colouring until the mix was a deep red colouring. Once the cereal is added the colour of the mix will lighten, so keep that in mind.
3. When all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, the puffed rice cereal was poured in and mixed.
Pack That Meat
4. Turn off the stove heat and scoop the "meat" into the butcher plates and form into patties. This is important to do while the mix is warm and malleable, if you wait to put it into the plates the mix will cool and you won't achieve the raw meat effect.
5. Gently press the mix into the desired shape and allow to cool for about 10 minutes.
Edible Fake Blood Splatter
The next layer to this treat is the blood splatter.
6. You can create this effect by combining equal parts chocolate syrup and corn syrup, then adding red food dye. When mixed, the result should look like deep red blood. Perfect! 7. Using your hands or a spoon, dribble, drip, smear, and splatter all around the butcher trays to create a bloody mess.
8. Place the formed meat patties on top of the edible blood.
Wrap
Just like at the supermarket, this raw meat will be sealed in cellophane to lock in that freshness and sell the notion that you're a monster who has just made their neighbour into hamburger. Each butcher plate was wrapped tightly. Don't worry if some blood gets on the cellophane or over the edge of the butcher plates, it adds to the effect!
Labels
I have also included within this post custom made artwork labels for the extra nice touch to really sell the effect, and maybe plant the seed in the minds of your guests that they might be next!
These can be printed onto sticker labels using your home printer, or alternatively use normal printing paper and attach these labels using clear tape.
Since it's for Halloween and scaring is the name of the game, feel free to use your friends, coworkers, and even pet’s names in the labels.
You may use the labels provided for your own creation, try right-clicking and "save as".
Within the sticker design provided their area few hidden easter eggs: -
• £3.16 per lb By incorporating 3:16 Bible quote.
The John 3:16 meaning is simple and clear: Jesus Christ died for the sins of humanity, willingly offering to make a sacrifice to save the world. It is a gift, freely given to any man or woman who chooses to accept it – and it comes with a wonderful benefit.
• By multiplying by mass weight on the packaging.
By 2.11 it gives the price of £6.66 Here is wisdom.
Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixtysix.
Revelation 13:18 states that if one is wise and has an understanding to count the number of the beast, which is also the number of a man, the number comes to 666.
Serve
All that's left is to leave your human raw meat packs out and see who bites. take some into work to just leave out and see who bothers to stop and look.
The nice thing about this treat is that the packaging is so recognizable that people instantly know what it is, and then do a double take since it's not usual for an office to have raw meat just left out on a counter.
This would be equally effective at school, church, or left out on the street!
Upon closer inspection it should be obvious that this doesn't quite look like raw beef, and once the package is opened it's sure to bring a crowd to enjoy the tasty treats.
