Don’t forget ….The meeting to discuss ideas for the Jubilee weekend in Lambey is THIS THURSDAY @ 6pm at the The Lambley pub!!!!
We need volunteers,coordinators and anybody with fab ideas and suggestions for the weekend 🤗👍🥳🇬🇧

Also if there are any local business’s that can contribute competition prizes to encourage the village to dress their houses to the nines and encourage fancy dress over the weekend that would be amazing 🤗🇬🇧👍

Just AMAZING support from you all for tomorrow’s VE Day’s 75th anniversary!!!! 🤗🇬🇧
Your effort to dress up your houses and gardens to show your respect and celebrate the day...even in this situation we are all in has been overwhelming to all of us that have put so much into trying to plan a huge village get together which should have been taking place tomorrow ☹️😣

So on a positive note I thought I’d share a little bit of info. that will still help brighten up your day in Lambley tomorrow 🤗🤗🤗

The Robin Hood team will be donning full WW2 dress up tomorrow and serving tea and cake from their front window from 12-2pm (obviously social distance rules apply👍)
And the The Woodlark will be playing 1940’s music from 11am for you as you pass by 🤗
Don’t forget to get your selfies with sir Tom at the bus stop before he goes back on his walking mission 😜🇬🇧🤗
AND hopefully Central news will be making their way over to our amazing village to cover all of our efforts😬🤞🤗

PLEASE keep uploading your photos/videos of your flags and house & garden dress up to the page so Christine Roberts ,the lady who was evacuated to Lambley as a child can choose two lucky winners🙌

Hi everyone
Can I ask if anybody is following any certain timetable to their VE Day celebration plans tomorrow?
I’ve been contacted by Central news today who were interested in what the village were doing and asking IF they could get over, what time and where abouts would be best to run a story? 🤗
Are there any houses that are decorating today t hat I may not know about already or do you have any planned timetable of your garden picnics or socially distanced street parties etc. that i didn’t know about?

Any info would be great and I can pass it on 🤗
They only have a small crew at work tomorrow so it would be great if Lambley was one of the villages they cover 🤗🇬🇧🥳👌
