🍂 And just like that… I’m back! 🌿

After the loveliest summer break and our campervan adventures around Europe, I’ve had a really nice little switch-off from all things kokedama… but now the first signs of autumn are creeping in and I’m definitely ready to get back to the moss! 💚

September is kicking off with two lovely markets for The Kokedama Llama:

🌿 Saturday 5th September – Rode Hall Farmers Market
9am–1.30pm
One of my regular favourites and I’ll be back with a fresh collection of handmade kokedamas.

🍂 Saturday 19th September – Mabon Market at The Wizard Tearoom, Nether Alderley
10am–4pm
A gorgeous autumn equinox market with local makers, seasonal produce and lots of lovely autumnal things🌙🌿

I’ll be spending the next few days getting my hands mossy again and making lots of new kokedamas ready for September. I’ve missed it and I’m actually really excited to get going again!

I’m popping up at Tatton Perk in Chelford TODAY from 10am–2pm with a gorgeous little jungle of handmade kokedamas! 🪴💚

I’ll be bringing along a lovely selection of plants from little minis to bigger statement kokedamas, hanging beauties and plenty of gorgeous greenery to choose from. 🌱

So if you’re local, why not pop down, grab a coffee from our fabulous award-winning village coffee shop ☕️ and have a browse through the plants while you’re there?

This Saturday I’ll be taking over Tatton Perk, Chelford with a beautiful collection of handmade kokedamas, lush houseplants, hanging plants and unique botanical gifts.

If you’ve been meaning to add a bit more greenery to your home, or you’ve always wondered what a kokedama is, this is the perfect chance to come and have a look.

Thank you to everyone who came to see me at Rode Hall today. 💚

It was such a lovely morning with lots of familiar faces returning, plenty of new plant lovers stopping by and lots of chats about all things plants.

The traditional moss-wrapped kokedamas were definitely the favourites today! It was so nice to see so many people choosing the original Japanese style 🪴

A big thank you to Ivy Cole Jewellery who bought a couple of kokedamas as end-of-term teacher gifts, which was such a lovely compliment. 💚

I also had lots of conversations about my workshops, so if you’ve been thinking about coming along to one, keep an eye on my page as there’ll be more to come.

I also collected Maude a Monstera kokedama bought by Mrs.M just over a year ago. It’s grown so much that it’s ready for a fresh moss re-wrap! I can’t wait to show you the transformation, keep watching 👀

🌿 See you at Rode Hall Farmers Market tomorrow! 🌿

I’ll be bringing something a little different this time… a collection of traditional Japanese-style kokedamas, wrapped in beautiful natural moss just as they were originally created.

Choose from:
🌱 Mini Boston Ferns
🌱 Asparagus Ferns
🌱 Curly Spider Plants

They can be displayed hanging or sitting, making them perfect for patios, balconies, garden rooms or bright spots indoors. And now that our night-time temperatures are staying warm, they’re also happy to enjoy the summer outside. ☀️

Each one is handmade by me and completely unique, ready to find its new home.

🌿 I’ll be back at Rode Hall Farmers Market this Saturday, and this month I’ve got something a little different…

Instead of my usual hanging glass terrariums, I’ll be bringing a beautiful collection of traditional moss-wrapped fern kokedamas, the original Japanese-inspired style that started my whole Kokedama journey. 💚

Every one is handmade by me and completely unique, making them the perfect addition to your home or a thoughtful gift for a fellow plant lover.

Alongside all the fantastic local food, live music and artisan makers, why not pop into the craft barn and come and say hello? I’d love to show you this month’s collection but be warned… they’re very hard to leave behind once you’ve picked one up! 🌿😉

🌿 Rode Hall, I’m back this Saturday! 🌿

If you’re looking for a little planty inspiration this weekend, you’ll find me at this Saturday 4th July 9am–1:30pm, hopefully in my usual spot! 💚

I’ll be bringing a fresh collection of handmade kokedamas, along with some beautiful hanging glass terrariums and a few new leafy creations that have been keeping me busy this week. 🌱✨

With over 80 fantastic food and craft stalls, live music, delicious treats and a gorgeous setting, it’s one of my absolute favourite markets.

I won’t be at the August market as I’ll be away on our summer campervan adventure, so if you’ve been thinking about treating yourself (or someone else!) to a little piece of indoor greenery, this Saturday is the perfect opportunity.

Come and get your summer plant fix, have a browse, say hello, and if you’re not sure which plant is right for you, I’m always happy to chat! 🌿💚

🇯🇵🌿 Matsuri day is here! 🌿🇯🇵

I’m so excited to be back for my second year at the wonderful Japanese Summer Matsuri at the beautiful Sefton Palm House in Liverpool. I had such a fantastic day here last year, so I couldn’t wait to come back!

The stall is all set up and ready, with my handmade kokedamas looking right at home against the stunning Palm House backdrop. It really is the perfect setting. 💚

If you’re visiting today, pop over and say hello! There’s so much to see and do, with Japanese food, music, culture and plenty of amazing stalls to explore, and best of all, entry is free!
