Morning 🌤

Following appearances at Wokingham Festival and Nene Valley Rock Festival over the summer our tour resumes in late September. We ease into the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness at Knutsford Little Theatre on Thursday 25th September.

It was at the beginning of last year in Manchester that we last shared the stage with Ms Amy Birks and we're delighted to say we're doing it again in Knutsford! Hers is one of the most distinctive voices in the current progressive scene and alongside fronting the acclaimed Beatrix Players, her solo albums are treasures to be savoured. John Hackett and Matt Lumb will be joining Amy in presenting delicate and intimate sketches of her work.

As the name suggests, the theatre is 'little' so please book ahead to avoid disappointment - https://knutsfordlittletheatre.com/class/the-john-hackett-band-and-mrs-amy-birks/

The Progressive Aspect's David Edwards penned a lovely review of our gig together in Darlington a couple of years ago. You can read it here -

Duncan, Nick and Jeremy were listening to the first Beatrix Players album, Magnified, on the way down to the South West last month. It's a beautiful, affecting album, full of emotion, courage and imagination. But here's one it's hard not to keep returning to. Rushlight.
