🎻🎼🎶 There’s something truly special about hearing Mozart’s String Quintet K.614 brought to life by world class musicians, and this moment with the Knebworth Chamber Players inside St Martin’s during this year’s Midsummer Music captures that magic beautifully.🎻🎼🎶

Written in 1791, it’s one of Mozart’s final chamber works which is elegant, playful and full of light, echoed in the intimate acoustics of St Martin's Church - St St Mary's & Martin's Churches Knebworth

Congratulations Leo Popplewell on your new appointment to London Mozart Players 👏- another one of our wonderfully talented guest musicians we were lucky enough to have at Midsummer Music at St Martin's 2026. 🎼🎻

Our new Joint Principal Cellos Wed 5 Aug 2026 We’re so excited to have both Leo and Kate leading our cello section. The news is twice as nice today as we’re appointing Leo Popplewell and Kate Gould as Joint Principal Cello. We feel very lucky to have these two wonderful players in our orchestra....

It’s wonderful to see the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra reflecting on their 2025-2027 season at Cadogan Hall.

One of their highlights was John Roberts performing Sir John Rutter's new work for Oboe and Orchestra.

John Roberts brought that same artistry to Midsummer Music at St Martin’s this June, filling the church with unforgettable sound.

Moments like these remind us how lucky we are to welcome musicians who perform on some of the world’s finest stages.

We are already looking forward to sharing more extraordinary music with you at St Martin’s.

That’s a wrap on Midsummer Music at St Martin’s 2026 and what an unforgettable weekend it was!
