The most perfect bank holiday Sunday party for Connor & our gorgeous Jessie 💛🪩🥳!
You'd think we were in the south of France with the weather but no, it was better.. the most beautiful vineyard in our very own Yorkshire 🍇🍷😎🩷.
Connor & Jess got married in Cyprus a few weeks ago & had their party yesterday to celebrate with friends & family. I had the honour of creating some arrangements to decorate the marquee & got to decorate the DJ booth for who was amazing on the decks & bongos 🪘🎧 (I was desperate to go & speak to her to let her know I'm trying to learn to DJ but failing miserably 😏, but I was too embarrassed & didn't want to interrupt a mix!).
Golden hour at Yorkshire Heart Vineyard was so stunning as was the sparkling rosé. What a night ✨✨✨.

This weeks bouquet is 'Shiny Happy People' ✨💙.
Fun fact; (that might be common knowledge but I didn't know), this song was in the running to be the 'Friends' theme tune but The Rembrandts ended up pipping them to the post. I think R.E.M. did alright for themselves in the end 😆.
Back to the flowers - Peonies are still here, the Coral Sunset variety this week with blue Delphiniums, Hydrangeas, Snapdragons, Roses & Lisianthus.

Wedding season is now in full swing 🥂🔔💐😍.
L & A got married yesterday at Massive congratulations you two 🧡.
It was an absolute joy creating these flowers, what a colour palette 🎨. I LOVE this time of year for flowers where the end of Spring is meeting the start of summer 🪻🤝🏼🌸. And some of the variety names of these flowers were great - Orange Fox Dahlias, Miss Piggy Roses & Coral Charm Peonies 😊.

This weeks bouquet is 'Better' 🩷🌸.
Peony season is still in full swing & this weeks variety are called 'Gardenia' there's also Phlox, Waxflower, Lisianthus & Campanula 🤗.

Close ups of my mannequin 🧐📸🎭.
A carnation petal corset graduating from dark to the lightest pink - more petals were glued on to that top than I care to count!
A choker built on a pipe cleaner base, belts tied with chiffon dressed with ranunculus, jasmine, tiny roses, hellebores, gypsophila & hyacinth pips. And 65 strands of those same hyacinth pips threaded on to fishing line that I'd sewn onto the waist of the cage skirt 🪡 each one reminding me of a tiny ballerina every time I looked at them 🧑🏼‍🩰🩰 (or little ghosts 👻 as pointed out!).
I think this could be one of my most favourite things I've ever made 🩷.
