PUBLIC MEETING - TUESDAY 19th SEPTEMBER 2023, 7pm AT THE VILLAGE HALL.

This meeting is to look at the new proposed layout of the junction from B1145, onto Hall Lane. Information will also be shared regarding Road Safety on Hall Lane.

Junction re-modelling update from Peter Neatherway:
revised plan from Steve at Highways for the re-modelling of the junction which I believe meets the criteria as discussed and agreed at the public meeting that I held a few weeks ago in the Village Hall.

The plan is designed to create a more pronounced “left turn” into Hall Lane from Mundesley by bringing the kerb line further round the bend and then returning it towards The Street with high-vis bollards on it.
The “hump" in the middle also contributes to this by guiding traffic approaching the junction from all directions to keep to the correct side of the road, but will allow our farm traffic to pass over it without having to negotiate a raised centre section. Don't forget to get your tickets for the Harvest Supper on the 29th September

Unfortunately as some of you maybe aware we had to call a halt to this event due to circumstances beyond our control. Please don't be put off attending any future events as we are in the process of getting this resolved.

Don't forget family Funday, Saturday on the village playing field and if it's wet in the village hall. See you all on Saturday.
