Less than two weeks to go. If you are providing activities and offers to all our Bonfest Visitors who will be in town May 2nd to 4th, please don't forget to add details of what you are doing to the events calendar.

Thanks to some more tech wizardry by James at EEJAY, all businesses and organisations profiled on the App can now share their profile and events directly to their other social media pages, messaging, emails and other communication tools.

Simply tap the share button which is now visible below your page, profile or event on the App!

If you cannot see the share option your device may not have automatically updated with this new feature.

Please go to Apple / Google play store - Kirriemuir App - and tap the install update button 👍

Following a couple of enquiries, just a wee reminder to businesses and organisations that your profile is set up to enable quick access to log in and alter your information or add events to the calendar.

This is so that you don't have to wait for an admin to post for you and you can alter opening hours temporarily, or let customers know about new lines, an upcoming sale or other events at very short notice.

Traditionally this time of year is quieter so perhaps a good opportunity to let folk know what is up and coming in the town centre.

Lots going on in Kirriemuir just now 😍 Whether your thing is Shopping, Quiz night or Bingo, Eating out or a Healthy Walk - check out the events calendar on the Kirriemuir App 📱

Just tap on the calendar icon, use the drop down menu 'Events' or tap on the magnifying glass symbol on the top right and type in a key word such as 'quiz' to see any event including that option appear 👍

Business & Organisation members. At this busy time of year don't forget to add your Events to the App calendar. So quick and easy to do.

1. Login to your profile via either kirriemuirapp.co.uk or the change business profile link on the App itself.
2. Scroll down to Manage Events. Click Create Event
3. Complete event day(s), details and add image.
4. Click submit
