Our cutting garden is in full bloom just like these glorious scented sweet peas.😄

Local grown bunches are available to pickup at the door on a regular basis along with wee sweet-pea bunches.☺️

🌟A wee reminder to order in advance where possible - huge help for us when planning our stock and time & ensures we're always able to create stunning, fresh and unique arrangements for you, whether it's a bouquet, bowl arrangements or a vase full of glorious seasonal flowers!

Day of Professional Development & celebrating British Flower Week🌟

Enjoyed a fabulous time learning and developing our sustainable floristry skills in Tannadice village yesterday. Thank you to Kelly & Val Blooming Bees for organising the event and supplying their beautiful cut flowers and to Michelle from Cordon Flowers Abernethy (Cordon Flowers) for guiding us through gentler methods of creating farewell flowers and inspiring us to create our own riot of colour in a large bowl of flowers - stunning centre piece for any event.

We enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch in the garden provided by Kirrie Dumplings. (Kirriedumplings Catering)

🌸After an inspiring day at RHS Chelsea, a walk around the borough of Kensington and Chelsea.🌸

The hours of work and creativity in the displays out side the shops are magnificent! If you happen to be in London during Chelsea week next year and don’t have time to visit RHS Chelsea, take a stroll around the neighbourhood and enjoy the atmosphere. Glorious!🌟

Beyond the Great Pavilion at Chelsea Flower Show 🪴

There is so much more to see including the show gardens, in many different shapes, sizes and styles, couple of my favourites were:

✨Hospitalfield, Arborath ( Hospitalfield )with their design inspired by the fragile coastal landscape of the east coast of Scotland. They were awarded a Silver Gilt medal for this stunning example of drought tolerant planting, and with this in mind, the garden will be rebuilt at Ladyloan Primary School a new resource school for Arbroath, situated virtually on the beach.

✨I also loved the feel of the Fettercarin Wilderness Retreat balcony garden the landscape on the copper sliding door, the planting of pines and heathers truly gave the feel of the Cairngorm mountains and that sun reflecting of copper bath – it really felt like a distillery in the Scottish mountains – Silver Medal for the team at ssh_scapes.

💫It was also great to catch up and congratulate Shona at the Nutscene (Nutscene) stand, their 19th year at RHS Chelsea and winners of the Director General’s Award this year. Fabulous products and stunningly vibrant stand, Shona’s gorgeous outfits were just as stunning!

Chelsea Flower Show Great Pavilion Highlights✨

Last week’s Chelsea Flower Show was fabulous! Many highlights but perhaps the most significant was The Farewell Flowers Directory (Farewell Flowers) exhibit, the aim to raise the profile of sustainable plastic free funeral floristry, truly a Gold Medal winning display. 🥇

Meeting Gill Hodgson, one of the founding members of the directory and part of the creative team of florists behind the exhibit was inspiring, so much enthusiasm, energy and passion for the Directory and the future of sustainable funeral. 🌟
