If you are interested in models - Orkney Model Club is hosting a very special sale of collectors items in Kirkwall this weekend with the proceeds going to charity. The club has been gifted part of a very large collection - including a gold plated opportunity for any Thunderbirds fan to get their hands on something really special. Robert Fodden from the Model Club has been telling us about the sale taking place in the St Magnus Centre on Saturday from 10 'til 5.

Very excited to be launching some fiddle classes in Orkney to start 2026!

For anyone with a New Year's resolution to get the fiddle out of the case again or just looking for a chance to play in a social setting. Aimed at intermediate to advanced players, there will be four classes on Tuesday nights in the St Magnus Centre.

Classes are £15 each or £50 for all four weeks 🎻
