Lambing season is officially done and dusted - and no one is happier than Farmer Graham and his sidekick Finn! 🐏🌿

We honestly can’t believe how quickly this year is flying by already. It’s been such a busy and exciting start to the year, and we’ve loved hosting so many beautiful weddings and special events already, with plenty more still to come 🥂

A huge thank you to everyone who has visited, supported us, and celebrated with us at Cairns Farm so far. It’s been such a special year already, and we really can’t wait to see what the rest of 2026 brings 💚

Spring weddings at Cairns Farm are pretty special 🌸

The farm is looking beautiful right now - everything’s green again, the days are getting longer, and the animals are loving being out in the fields 🌿🐑

We’ve loved seeing all the different spring styling our couples have brought to the farm already this year, from soft pastels and fresh florals to brighter pops of colour 🌷

Spring on the farm 🌼🌱

There’s a lovely kind of energy this time of year - longer days, fresh air, and the whole farm coming back to life.

Our cabins are a cosy place to enjoy it all, from slow mornings to evenings by the BBQ and firepit, with clear, starry skies overhead 🔥

Lambing season is in full swing, the fields are dotted with new life, and spring flowers are starting to bloom 🐑

You might meet our Highland cows and their calves, spot newborn lambs, or collect fresh eggs from the hens.

There’s a lot happening at Cairns Farm just now 🐑💚

We’re right in the middle of lambing season, while also hosting beautiful weddings filled with love and dancing - two very different but very special parts of Cairns Farm life coming together.

The fields are dotted with new little arrivals, and it’s always amazing seeing the farm like this at this time of year.

It’s full-on, but we wouldn’t change a thing, although farmer Graham might disagree when it comes to his sleep..

A huge congratulations to our wonderful team member Antonina on graduating from the Rural Leadership Programme 🎓🌿

Run by Scottish Enterprise and delivered by Elevatoruk, this fantastic programme is designed to support and develop leadership skills within rural businesses and communities, bringing together like-minded individuals to learn, grow, and shape the future of rural Scotland.

We are incredibly grateful that Antonina has had this opportunity, alongside other members of our team, Caroline and Graham, who have also previously taken part in this inspiring journey.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in delivering such a valuable and impactful course 💚

It’s been amazing to see the strong bonds and connections that have been formed along the way - friendships and networks that will last well into the future.

We’re so excited for what lies ahead and all the opportunities this will bring!

Spring has arrived at Cairns Farm 🌿🐑 and Easter is the perfect time for a getaway!

We’re so excited to be welcoming our newborn lambs to the farm - with lambing starting tomorrow - there’s nothing quite like seeing them take their first steps. Alongside them, our Highland cows, alpacas and hens are ready to meet you too!

Fresh air, rolling countryside, and those peaceful spring moments… it’s the perfect escape from the everyday 🌼

The ladies are back in the field after their winter holidays 🐑🌿 (Yes, ladies can also have horns!)

Lambi was the first to run up and say hello, as always - full of character and ready for attention! The alpacas and highland cows are also here, as happy as ever, looking over the farm and the baby coos are growing so fast!

Here’s a little glimpse of life at Cairns Farm, where things are still very much a working farm behind the scenes. And it won’t be long now before we’re getting everything ready for lambing season… such a special (and busy!) time of year 💚

Hello 👋 There are currently roadworks in place on the A70, and we just wanted to reassure all of our upcoming guests. We know how important it is to have smooth travel to Cairns Farm, so here’s what you need to know.

The road is closed to the general public, and at certain points during weekdays both lanes may be closed for a couple of hours while works are carried out.

However, there are no roadworks taking place at weekends, so there will be no issues accessing Cairns Farm for weddings, events or weekend stays.

Please note that Google Maps may show the long diversion route, but this does not apply to guests travelling to Cairns Farm. Access is still available for those visiting us.

If you’re travelling during the week, please allow a little extra time and take care, as there are cones and signage in place along the road.

And rest assured… our Head of Security is closely supervising the reconstruction of the A70 to make sure everything is being done properly. She is never off duty. 🐾

We hope this puts your mind at ease, and we can’t wait to welcome you to Cairns Farm! 🤍
