Here’s what our lovely bride Daryl had to say about her made-to-measure gown experience:

The process was so easy and straight forward. Around 3 months before my wedding, Mirka contacted me to go for my first appointment to have measurements taken. Following this I went for several appointments for fittings as the dress progressed. I was so surprised at the beginning how quickly she was able to make the dress! By my final fitting the dress fitted perfectly and was exactly what I had pictured.

Congratulations Erin & Tom on your first wedding anniversary! 🥂

Erin wore a completely bespoke gown crafted out of recycled lace. This A-line gown featured a V-neckline and delicate lace detailing that covered the open back and sleeves adding a refined touch. This bespoke dress made her feel comfortable, relaxed and like herself on her big day.

Here’s what she had to say about her dream dress and a piece of advice for future brides:

“My experience at Mirka was lovely. It was a nice setting and Mirka was really helpful in pulling out dresses and I never felt rushed. I loved the fit of my dress and I cried when I put it on as I felt beautiful wearing it.

My advice for future brides visiting Mirka Bridal would be that when choosing a dress go with how you feel wearing it, not what you think you should look like! Try on loads of different styles and take your time.”
