Hello folks, I've been drafting this announcement in my head for months, but it's time to share the news. As of May this year, The Kitchen Treasury will no longer be trading from our beloved space in Hunter Street.
This journey has been a whirlwind adventure, and an incredibly personal experience for myself, Darren, and my boys. From finding the space during a particularly tough time, to carefully curating every detail, we worked hard in creating a space that people would feel like they were stepping into our home. Or sitting round my kitchen table..
I'm so grateful to have had the freedom to cook, create, and share my love of food and have been so touched by the people that have come through doors regularly whilst we opened as a cafe, at our supper clubs and for our KT@home customers.
While it's hard to say goodbye, I'm proud of what we've built together. Thanks so much to Darren who helped me visualise my dream and be the rock that he is. To Meg and Amanda who have worked with me (that ain't easy folks 😵💫🙈🫨) . For James, who built our rad kitchen, when it really was a shell of a room with a window.
But cheese, or not , it is to all of you that took a chance on a small business and have been a character in all of this. I've loved getting to know you. I've loved memorising random food facts about you too. For all of you that have stepped through the door, thank you❤️
Our March supper clubs are nearly full, we also will have a March KT@home this month. We are considering an event in April, but will you keep you posted.
Lots of love and thanks,
Sam x
