You often see me sharing our work on here, and I’m incredibly lucky to receive so many lovely comments, messages and words of appreciation.

But today, I want to shine the spotlight on the people who make it all happen behind the scenes. ❤️

Unfortunately they are all photo shy but this is our team… Jeremy, Jayne, Emma, Sharon, Amy, Becky, James, Oakley, Wendy, Dave & Dave, Bill & Allison plus me…

The people who arrive early, stay late, condition flowers, make bouquets, create beautiful wedding flowers, design heartfelt funeral tributes, serve our customers, answer the phone, make deliveries, keep the shop looking beautiful, unpack endless boxes and somehow keep everything moving when it gets busy!

Every arrangement that leaves our shop has a little bit of all of us in it.

A beautiful wedding at Ashton Lodge on Sunday.

We created a beautiful collection of flowers for the happy couple. The colour palette of soft whites, blush pinks and delicate greens worked beautifully with the elegant surroundings of Ashton Lodge, creating a romantic and timeless feel throughout the day.

It was such a pleasure to be part of their special day, and we wish Amber and Ian a lifetime of happiness together.

Just a little reminder that we’ll be closed on Bank Holiday Monday and will be taking a well-earned day off.

We’ll be back open as usual on Tuesday, with fresh flowers, beautiful plants and plenty of lovely cards in the shop.

When a customer asks… “Can you find me some olive trees?”

Well, we do love a challenge! 😉

This week we sourced not one, but two magnificent Italian olive trees — a beautiful 50-year-old tree and a truly spectacular, wonderfully gnarly 200-year-old olive tree. 🇮🇹

We then found the perfect Italian terracotta pots, planted them in the correct specialist soil mix and carefully delivered them to their home, where they now take pride of place in this absolutely stunning drive and garden.

It’s not quite as simple as putting a plant in a pot and dropping it off… there was a LOT of graft involved! 😂

And a very special mention to James, who was an absolute legend throughout the whole job. Getting these beauties into position was no mean feat — I think he deserves a medal! 🏅😂

A beautiful day celebrating Ellis & Thomas at the stunning Prestwold Hall. 🤍

With temperatures soaring well above 30°C, it was certainly one of our hottest wedding set-ups to date! It was a challenging day, but seeing everything come together so beautifully made every minute worthwhile.

We had the pleasure of creating the wedding flowers and stationery, styling the venue, setting up the ceremony, transforming the room for the reception, and returning afterwards for collection. It was a real team effort from start to finish, and we’re incredibly proud of what we created together.

It was also a pleasure to work alongside such a talented group of suppliers, especially the brilliant , who captured the day so beautifully.

Congratulations, Ellis & Thomas. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your wedding day. We wish you a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together. 🤍
