We are delighted to assist Billy Thomson, a local member and Corporate Sponsor, through Thomson Partnership Scotland, in his quest to play 100 holes in 1 day, a monumental 5 rounds and 10 holes, on the 29th June 2026. Teeing off at 0430 and targeting completing hole no 100 by sundown! All the monies raised are being ring fenced towards a new large oxygen chamber for the Grampian Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre. Additionally Billy is tackling the Aberdeen KiltWalk shortly and then the Dundee KiltWalk in August.
The new chamber could potentially yield an additional ten thousand therapies per annum for north-east folk. Those with MS, fibromyalgia, cancer, burns, Parkinsons etc all benefit from the therapies provided by the self-funded, wholly independent Charity. All fundraising revenues stay in the north-east.
The Charity is also proud to choose Kintore Golf Club as its host venue for its Annual Golf Day, with the next one due on July 3rd 2026.
