SEASONS IN WRECKAGE

Seasons In Wreckage are a 5 piece Melodic Hardcore band hailing from the South Coast City of Portsmouth (UK). Since forming in late 2011, Seasons have played a variety of shows across the UK supporting bands such as Heart In Hand, Silent Screams, Senses Fail, Odessa, Napoleon and many others. Seasons In Wreckage also completed a small tour with Melodic Hardcore band Elephantis in early 2013. Seasons In Wreckage released their debut music video in November 2012 and has since gained 60,000 views on Youtube, proving to be popular among Melodic Hardcore fans. After going through several lineup changes, Seasons eventually headed back up to Studio 6 in August 2013 to record their debut EP that released in November 2013 along with a new music video for the song "Above The Trees".

Ameira headline the weekly Welly Warmer with support from Less Deceived, a regular at these events, Hate Mondays and In The Company Of Wolves who made their debut on the rock/metal stage at this years Humber Street Sesh!

Doors open at 6:30pm with the first band taking to the stage at 7:00pm. Entry fee is £3 otd or £2 w/guestlist and members cards.

This will be my last gig for a while so make the most of it!

Continents make a return to Hull alongside Australian band Aveira Skies!

CONTINENTS first came to light in the summer of 2011 when their self-released ‘Trials’ video premiered via Blank TV, attracting an impressive amount of views in its first week of being online. This exposure did not go unnoticed, and the band went on to be voted ‘Favourite YouTube UK Metal Act’ by its users, and as a reward the band featured on the youtube.com homepage.
Fast-forward a year or so,CONTINENTS have released their debut full length album ‘IDLE HANDS’worldwide via independent giants Victory Records. Produced by Stu McKay (Studio Six) and mixed and mastered by Pete Rutcho of Damage Products (The Ghost Inside, Bury Your Dead, Hand of Mercy).IDLE HANDS is a monstrous barrage of aggression which has achieved major success with both critics and fans all over the world and in what has been little over 2 years, CONTINENTS have launched from playing box room shows in South Wales to a major force to be reckoned with, and show absolutely no signs of slowing down.
2013 saw CONTINENTS achieve huge praise and acknowledgement for their hard work promoting IDLE HANDS by extensive touring worldwide, including numerous UK and European tours supporting such acts as Emmure, The Black Dahlia Murder, Comeback Kid, Dying Fetus, etc, along with a Japanese tour with metalcore giants The Ghost Inside. A result of this saw CONTINENTS rewarded by being included in the Top 100 bands you should know by Alternative Press magazine and various other acknowledgements throughout the industry.
Looking ahead to 2014,CONTINENTS already have a huge year planned with a number of high profile support slots confirmed, even more touring, and the continued writing of the already anticipated unnamed second album also to be released on Victory Records ,CONTINENTS are proving they still have more than enough to give and continue to push themselves relentlessly to prove what they are capable of.

AVEIRA SKIES - "For fans of Buried In Verona, Northlane and Parkway Drive"

Aveira Skies are a 5 piece hardcore/metal act hailing from Perth, Western Australia. They made their live debut in the Perth music scene mid 2011 showing what they have to offer with their blend of melodic riffs and heavy breakdowns. Within their first year they supported such bands as Northlane, Buried in Verona, The Plot in You (USA), Silent Screams (UK), The Bride, Resist the Thought, and many more.

2011 saw the band debut their EP "Longer Than Flesh, Longer Than Ashes" which appearing on the iTunes Bestsellers Metal Charts.

After spending 2012 dominating the Perth music scene, 2013 sees Aveira Skies touring the rest of Australia as well as write for their 2nd release which details will be announced shortly.

HALLOWEEN MOSH FEST @ O'RILEYS 26/27 OCT

Featuring 23 bands over 2 days this is the biggest hardcore/metal event to hit Hull in a long time so don't miss out! There are a number of bands from across the hardcore/metal spectrum ranging from melodic hardcore to technical metal with bands from across the country including a number of Hull's own grown talent. There's something for everyone!

Doors open at 12:30pm on both days with the Saturday finishing at 8pm ready for the after party at Spiders starting at 8:30pm and the Sunday going on till 9pm with DJ Lukazlade banging out the tunes you want to hear till 2am at O'Rileys

SATURDAY 5TH OCTOBER @ O'RILEYS

Arcade Promotions presents a A Pop-punk vs. Hardcore all dayer featuring:

AFMX - Formed in 2010, AMFX are a 4 piece Pop-punk band from the Shropshire borders. After recording a debut EP in California with The Army of Freshmen, Graeme pulled together a band and proceeded to play live shows that brought many plaudits.

Supporting the likes of Attack Attack!, Allbright, Straightlines and MK Zero, as well as a supporting set in Manchester with Army of Freshmen, and countless local shows, in 2011 a 7 date tour was undertaken with Yorkshire friends Redemtion which included Hull. There was a brief hiatus and the band have now returned with new songs, and a new drive.

Thursday 22nd August @ O'Rileys

This marks the return of The Welly Warmer! When We Were Wolves headline as part of a 3 week tour around Europe and the UK.

When We Were Wolves are a five piece post-hardcore band from Bridgend/Newport, South Wales. Since forming in July 2011 and despite only playing live together for just under a year, the band have built up a strong following within the South Wales metal scene within such a short space of time.

The band are often renowned for the fierce, dynamic live performance that they deliver at every show and have shared the stage with breaking bands from across the U.K such as Bury Tomorrow, Exit Ten, Despite My Deepest Fear and Carcer City and many more. At the start of this year the band played their Ep launch and performed their debut Ep "The more things change, the more we stay the same" (KKKK-Kerrang)
