- 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 -

It’s been another fantastic year for live music at NAPA, with 10 of our productions this year featuring a live band.

23 musicians, playing 18 different instruments between them, have played for 27 performances, with our largest ensemble being the 11-piece band hidden beneath the stage for our Hull Truck production of Annie. All of this under the direction of our amazing in-house musical directors Dave, Corinne, and Andrew.

We’re very grateful that we can give our students the opportunity to perform with live musicians.

Isaac, Emily, Eden, Lauren, Sam, Phil, Sofiya, Corinne, Sarah, Owen, Noel, David, Rachel, Liz, Emily, Dave, Paul, Shelley, Henry, Dean, Tom, Andrew and Mike, thank you for your generosity in bringing our musicals to life this year and helping to inspire our students with your music.

We are excited to announce that our full-time Performing Arts Students (Level 3 and 4) will be presenting JEKYLL & HYDE The Musical at HULL TRUCK THEATRE in May 2026.

A dramatic and dark musical based on the classic book by Robert Louis Stevenson, Jekyll & Hyde is an evocative tale of the epic battle between good and evil featuring a thrilling score of pop-rock hits.

This is a varied position that involves a wide range of daily and weekly tasks. This Sunday - NAPA’s Over 55’s present a piece celebrating the history of The Avenues in Hull.

The estate was established in 1875 for the burgeoning middle classes of Hull.

NAPA's Over 55's Actors are taking part in the Avenues Open Gardens event in Hull - with a short piece of theatre celebrating the history of The Avenues.

If you're in the area - pop along to the Adult Education Centre on Park Avenue for a 2pm or 4pm performance.

And that’s it for another year of Northern Stars at the Middleton Hall.
