Bernie has been one of the fantastic drivers at Samba for many years, and what a driver he is! 👏😊 Reliable, hardworking, and always ready to get the job done.

Now, if you spend more than five minutes with Bernie, there’s one thing you’ll quickly learn… 🍺😂

It’s only Monday, but somehow we’re already hearing all about the pint he’s planning to enjoy after work on Friday! By Tuesday we’ve heard where he’s going, by Wednesday what he’ll be drinking, and by Thursday we’re practically invited ourselves! 🤣🍻

When he’s not counting down to Friday, Bernie loves sharing stories and photos of his beautiful grandchildren. ❤️ He’s one very proud grandad, and it’s always lovely to see how much they mean to him.

🌪️ Meet Jumbled June! 🌪️

If you’ve ever wondered where all the label reels disappear to, chances are they’ve found their way around June! 😂

More often than not, she can be found at the end of the line completely tangled up in labels, looking like she’s lost a wrestling match with the reel. We still haven’t worked out how she manages it, but somehow June always ends up wearing more labels than the products!

The funny thing is, despite being permanently wrapped up in a label tornado, June has the fastest hands around! Those labels definitely don’t stick themselves. 😉

A huge thank you to June for all her hard work, endless laughs, and for keeping the line moving, even when she’s tied up in knots.

If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that Doreen is always singing. Whether it's a tune, a hum, or a full performance, there's never a dull moment when she's around! 🎤😊

We're pretty sure Matthew has enjoyed having Doreen around too – she's saved him a few quid on buying a radio! 📻😂

✨ Meet Breakdown Becky ✨

You can usually find Becky in her office… surrounded by sticky notes, clutching her Coke Zero for dear life, and trying to squeeze one more thing into a day that already ran out of hours three tasks ago 😅

She’s currently this close 👌🏼 to a full breakdown… but luckily Debbie is nearby rubbing her back, reminding her she’s doing amazing and that it’s almost the weekend 🙌😂

Between the emails, follow-ups, and “quick little things” that are never actually quick… Becky somehow keeps everything moving and makes the chaos look (almost) under control.

A huge THANK YOU to all the hardworking Beckys out there — the ones juggling all the things, keeping everything running, and somehow still showing up every day with heart and determination. We see you, we appreciate you, and we hope your Coke Zero stays cold and your Friday gets here fast 💕👏

Whether it's a mystery virus, a 24-hour bug, or a rare case of Saturdayitis, Mel always keeps us guessing! 😅

🚨 Meet The Hygiene Hooligan Debbie 🚨

If she’s not talking about Hull City, she’s swabbing something… honestly, I’m starting to think she’s even swabbed me a couple of times when I wasn’t looking 👀😂

Food swabs, surface swabs, random swabs — if it stands still long enough Debbie’s testing it. I’m convinced she carries swabs in every pocket “just in case” and probably judges people’s kitchen hygiene when she visits their house 🧪🤣

You can always hear one of two things:
⚽ “Did you see Hull City last night?”
or
🧫 “That definitely needs swabbing.”

There is absolutely no in-between 😂

I’m pretty sure Debbie could spot a failed hygiene test from 3 miles away with the accuracy of VAR. She’s like a hygiene superhero… except instead of a cape she’s armed with cotton buds and Hull City opinions 🐯😂

And don’t even think about leaving crumbs anywhere near her — she’ll appear out of nowhere with a swab faster than Hull concede a goal 😭🤣

But jokes aside, thank you for everything you do for us. You really are the glue that keeps us all together, everyone’s agony aunt, and the person we all turn to when we need a laugh, a rant, or a bit of advice ❤️

🌟 MEET KERRY… AKA “THE F-BOMB” 🌟

If you hear an F-bomb floating across the building, chances are it’s come from Kerry! 😂

You know that thing everyone is thinking but is too polite to say? Kerry has already said it… out loud… probably twice. She has absolutely no filter, and honestly, we wouldn’t have her any other way!

Whether she’s keeping us entertained with her one-liners, telling it exactly how it is, or dropping the occasional (or frequent) F-bomb, she always keeps the team smiling. 😆

Behind the colourful vocabulary is one of the hardest-working members of the team. Kerry is always willing to muck in, help others out, and get the job done no matter what.

She brings laughter, energy, and plenty of unforgettable quotes to every shift. Life would definitely be a lot quieter without her… although we’re not sure that’s a good thing! 😂

Sometimes she’s asking before she’s even clocked in… and honestly we wouldn’t expect anything less! From counting down the hours at the start of the day to reminding everyone when home time is getting close, Jelena keeps us all entertained.

But jokes aside, behind the clock-watching is someone who works incredibly hard, always helps the team, and brings plenty of laughs to every shift.

🚨 MEET ANGRY BIRD NICKY 🚨

The day hasn’t even started yet and Nicky is already angry.

The clocking-on machine pinged a bit too loudly? Angry.
Someone smiled a little too much? Angry.
Someone said “morning” a little too cheerfully? Furious.

To be honest, we’re not even sure if she’s a credit to the team because nobody is brave enough to look over and check her work. We value our safety and would quite like to keep our eyebrows.

You can usually find Angry Bird Nicky stomping around, pulling faces, and looking like she’s about to launch herself across the room at the slightest inconvenience.

That said, behind the legendary resting angry face is someone who works incredibly hard, keeps things running smoothly, and always gets the job done.

Nothing gets past Toni when it comes to the baskets. Honestly, we’re pretty sure she knows if we’ve even breathed near one. Leave a basket in the wrong place for 30 seconds and somehow Toni’s already appeared asking where it belongs. 😂

If a basket goes missing? Forget calling Sherlock Holmes — Toni’s already on the case. We’re convinced she has a secret tracker on every single one. You can run, but you can’t hide from Basket Police Toni. 🚔🧺
