This week is Le***an Visibility week!!

It is important to acknowledge these amazing women as they have always been one of the biggest supporters to the LGBTQIA+ community, from the Stonewall Riots to nursing and supporting our community through the HIV/Aids epidemic.

When the world shut us out, called us disgusting, infectious and dirty, it was the le***an community who stood by us and fought for us, so this week we recognise their love and support and thank them for it ❤️🏳️‍🌈❤️

All too often, spaces are made and targeted at Gay men, making other people in the LGBTQIA+ community feel left out and under represented which is why at Cherry’s Bar and in the we put on events and make a safe space for all not just a set few 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Spread love. Spread positivity. Most importantly spread knowledge!!!

Knowledge and history is power and is the true meaning of Pride 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈
