Rant alert……….
We really try our best to serve our lovely village but there are a few things that are really disappointing and disheartening.
Stealing - loo rolls, ash trays, milk jugs, glasses, dog water bowls.
Mess- leaving an absolute mess on tables and floor and coming in with the muddiest of boots and spreading it everywhere
The above we TOLERATE as I guess it is all part and parcel of running a business…..
However, over the past few weeks the state of our toilet is becoming untenable!!!!
In the past 3 weeks it has been blocked 3 times (sort your diet out!) loo roll has been festooned all over the floor, and (at the risk of being sexist) men have been peeing all over the floor, taps have been left running and towel has been put down the sink. And don’t start me on the Sanitary bin!!!
My wonderful staff prepare food and I do not want them having to clean the toilet 3-4 times per day!
BUT today nearly broke them ……! We had actual 💩 on the floor and another blocked loo. I was not in the shop and they had to clean it up during service.
Kings Langley - this is just not acceptable.
We have always allowed anyone to use our loo as a public service but I am seriously thinking of putting a lock on it so customers have to ask for a key.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can everyone make an effort to be BETTER?
