Three Rivers District Council Consultation – OPEN NOW
Deadline 5pm 10 March 2023
Apart from a few exceptions all the sites in the previous consultation are still included in the council's considerations. Landowners have put forward additional sites, or, in some cases, their original site forward again, if it had been rejected.
Of these, six new sites are being taken forward, and you are being asked for your comment. More details can be found on the TRDC website here: http://bit.ly/3xsk5CT
They following are all in this part of the District:
Kings Langley (site shown in picture): 380 dwellings (Ref CFS26e) between M25 and Abbots Road. This is 22 hectares of Green Belt agricultural land plus the rest of the site (36.5 hectares) will be developed as public open space.
Hunton Bridge: 20 dwellings (Ref NSS10) Mill Place, former scaffolding site. This is Green Belt land that's been previously developed.
Bedmond: 20 dwellings (Ref NSS2) 56 High St, currently a car dealership. This is Green Belt that's been previously developed. There are some concerns on whether this land should have been put forward so one we'll be keeping a close eye on it.
Bedmond: 12 dwellings (Ref NSS6) North Cott, East Lane. This is undeveloped Green Belt.
Abbots Langley: 25 dwellings (net) (Ref NSS14) Margaret House former care home.
Abbots Langley: 450 dwellings (Ref CFS8d) Notley Farm 11 hectares of agricultural land in the Green Belt, plus it includes land for public open space.
Three Rivers District Council are inviting you, the public and residents of these villages to have your say. Visit their website https://www.threerivers.gov.uk/egcl-page/new-local-plan for more details of how to comments and make your opinion heard.
Every voice counts!
