My name is JoJo, owner of AJ Ballooning in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. Also covering, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London and surrounding areas. I am a Certified Balloon Artist with Qualatex (C.B,A) a certificate which I gained in 2013. I am educated in Balloon Modelling, Balloon Decoration and Balloon Sculpting. I have been twisting balloons since 2004 and have developed different techniques

and new designs that will amaze clients. Having traveled to U.S.A, The Middle East, Europe and all over the UK to develop these skills I am now a full-time Balloon Modeller in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London

As well as being a Balloon Modeller and Artist I am also a Family entertainer providing Magic Shows for ages 4 – 8. My stage name is Auntie JoJo: www.auntiejojomagicmartin.co.uk. My love for balloons has grown over the years and all that I wanted to do was to show people something different and out of the ordinary. To show them balloon modelling like it’s never been seen before.

My story so far.....

My name is JoJo, owner of AJ Balloon Magic, in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.

I have been twisting balloons since 2004 and developing my skills as a balloon decor artist since 2012.

My skills set also includes being a Magician performing family shows all over Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.

I always get asked many questions when I’m working as a balloon artist. How long have you been doing this for? How did you get into it? How long do you practice for? How many designs do you know? Can you make anything out of a balloon? and many more.

In a bid to answer a few of these questions for you now I begin to realise that my journey started with a fatal meeting of a magician in my local pub one evening whilst out with friends. We struck up a good dialogue and became good friends. With this new found friends ships I begun taking an interest in magic and being his sounding board for his new tricks and ideas. I was already a face painter when I met him and as we began this journey into magic together we both decided to learn the art of balloon modelling.

Since then my passion for balloons has grown and after my children became less dependent on me I began to expand my skills into balloon decoration for weddings, parties, christening and corporate events, and in 2012 AJ Ballooning was born.

I have traveled to U.S.A, The Middle East, Europe and all over the UK to perform as a balloon artist and develop these skills. I am a Certified Balloon Artist with Qualatex (C.B.A) a certificate which I gained in 2013. I am educated in Balloon Modelling, Balloon Decoration and Balloon Sculpting.

At the same time as I was growing as a balloon artist I developed my own magic show with the help of my good friend.

This was a very nervous time for me. I had been his assistant for a short while but now I was to be the main focus and entertainer, it was tough and the first few shows didn't go very well. However, I am now 6 years a magician and proud of the shows that I perform and the reviews that I get.

I incorporate my balloons into my magic show as much as I can. All the birthday children receive an extra special balloon model from me which always gets the wow factor. I have been told on many occasions from clients/customers that

‘they have never seen a balloon artist like me before’.

I take pride in my designs and the details that goes into them. Even in line work I add details to make my work stand out amongst the rest of my counterparts.

I always say ‘ leave your customers wanting more’, keeping them entertained and guess what you are making next, you will always get rebooked as they want to see what else you can do.

And YES I can make anything out of a balloon.
