✨ Happy new year all ✨

Here is a dried arrangement I made for my lovely neighbour in October and have only just managed to photograph in situ! Lovely to see it still looking fresh as a daisy 🪄

The star of this piece has to be the gorgeous trailing amaranthus from Pulvertoft Flowers and Amber Cottage Flowers flowers alongside my homegrown orache and achillea 🌾

Very excited to announce that I'll be offering a duo of festive workshops at the lovely Fork Handles Café, Stow Hall Gardens, on Sunday 7th December!

🌲10am to 1pm: Wreath Making🌲
For this first workshop you will learn how to weave a variety of seasonal foliage, berries, cones and dried flowers onto a willow and moss base to create a gorgeous wreath brimming with seasonal colours, textures and scents. The finished wreath will be approximately 65cm across, and there will also be a selection of ribbons and bells to adorn your creation.

🌲2.30pm to 5.30pm: Garland Making🌲
For the second workshop, you will weave a beautiful selection of seasonal foliage, berries, cones and dried blooms onto a twine and moss base. The finished garland, approximately 1m long, will have hanging loops at either end to adorn a mantelpiece, hearth, table top or other space in your home.

The price of each workshop is £60 per person - this includes all materials, tuition and a selection of festive refreshments. There is a discounted rate of £100 pp for those wanting to attend both workshops. Stow Hall Gardens members are offered a 10% discount.

For both workshops, all materials will be provided and no prior experience is needed!

Bit quieter here at Fen Edge Floral Design at the moment as I have my lovely kiddies to look after most days! The juggle is real 🤹‍♀️

Today I will be one of 30 local artists and makers at the Ely Arts Festival Fun Day Craft Village, hosted by Blended Monkey Crafts.

The Fun Day is free to attend and there’ll be food, drink, music, kids’ activities and more. The event runs from 10am to 5pm at Jubilee Gardens, Riverside, Ely.

I will be there showcasing and selling a wide range of homegrown and homemade dried flower arrangements, including wreaths, garlands, posies, wands and petal confetti, as well as some fresh flower bunches. I will also be demonstrating how to make a dried flower crown.
