I’m doing a training day with Magdalena Sienicka Photographer at my studio in Kilmarnock and looking for a model to join us! You’ll receive 4 to 5 edited images free as a thank you for your time.

You must be available until later on in the afternoon and have your own transport. The day will start with hair and makeup at Allure hair & beauty - Kilmarnock at 9am, then you’ll head to my studio for the shoot.

You’ll need to be comfortable taking part in a bo***ir and beauty shoot, happy for me to share your images on my website and social media, and willing to sign a model release.

If you’re interested, please send me a private message with your name, age, clothes size and two recent photos, preferably one full length.

Yesterday saw me back The Gailes Hotel & Spa for the wedding of Katie and Declan. Honestly laughed all day., days like these I know I am in the right job!

What a lovely start to my week to wake up to this lovely review ❤️

'This was bought for my Christmas and I honestly didn’t know what to expect from it, but I absolutely love how it’s turned out.

We had all seven of our eyes photographed and put together into one family piece and the finished picture is unreal. You don’t realise how different everyone’s eyes actually are until you see them like this. The colours and detail Karen manages to pick up are amazing and it’s made something completely unique to our family.

Karen herself was brilliant. We’ve got a 3 year old and, as anyone with a toddler will know, getting them to sit and cooperate when you actually need them to is usually when they decide absolutely not to.

Karen was so patient with her, showed her what she was doing and really made her feel part of it all. She actually enjoyed the whole thing and Karen managed to get the perfect shot.

The whole experience was really relaxed, no rushing about and nothing felt forced. You can tell Karen takes a lot of pride in what she does and wants to get it right.

Then we saw the finished picture and… wow. Seeing all seven of us together like this is just class. It’s one of those things that’s really difficult to appreciate until you actually see your own family done.

If anyone is looking at iris photography in Scotland, I’d 100% recommend Iris Photography Scotland by Karen Simpson Photography. Especially if you’re thinking about doing it as a family or you’ve got younger kids and are wondering how on earth they’ll manage it!

Absolutely delighted with ours. It’ll be on our wall for a very long time.
