Morning!
What a contrast to the last few days when we were basking in the sun and now I'm sitting looking out at the monsoon type rain!

However the sweet peas have been loving the weather and are now flowering profusely.... so I'll be picking fresh ones this evening ready for tonight or tomorrow.

So if you fancy their gorgeous fragrance to cheer up your day please message me and I'll reserve them for you, otherwise you will find them on the stall if you are quick! 💐🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼😆

Tomorrow fresh flowers will be picked to make posies and replenish the flower stall.... photos to follow!

A large bouquet gift on its way for an 80th Birthday today.
Thanks to Mr Logan for being such a superstar model too 🙌🏻🙏🏻😊

Delphinium, Verbascum "Snowy spikes", white foxglove, gladioli, pink carrot flowers, cream daisies, spirea, alchemilla, hydrangea and a few grasses as finishing touches!
They all survived the stromy weather yesterday... amazing! 🙌🏻🌺👏🏻

Finally I saw this notice board on a fellow flower growers feed - loved it. Some inspiration to add to the flower stall...what do you think? 🤣☺️

At last..... the return of the sweet peas 🙌🏻🌺🙌🏻

It was a busy week in the garden planting out the last few dahlias.
Just loved the sunny days with the cattle in the field next to the garden, my robin companion and a few cheeky rabbits keeping me on my toes!

I know the rain is back which keeps us indoors, but the flowers are still out there bracing the elements.... please do call by! 🙏🏻🙋🏼‍♀️🌺🌸

The sweet peas sold out instantly but hope to have a few bunches out soon. If you are keen to grab a bunch, please PM me and I'll reserve them for you.

Posies, Posies, Posies!
Chased into the house by the rain, I had more time to create!
Lovely vibrant oranges, lime greens complimented by the purples, fairly cheer you up!
All safely on the flower stall away from the four legged nibbler I spied this morning.🐰🐇😜
Yesterday I was followed by Mr Robin wondering what I was doing...

After a few days away, the new flower stall has fresh flowers awaiting you! 🌸🌼🌺
Many will follow daily whilst I focusing on contolling the garden again! 🫣🌾
You can use your phone to pay via the QR codes or else via the little blue money tin. Thank you 🙏🏻
Plenty of free plants to grab too, so you can start your own cut flower gardens 🙌🏼🤩🌸
Meantime how smart are these orange california poppies that self seeded in the patio before it gets regrouted.... sometimes I wonder why I grow them from seed! 🤔😜🫶🏻 Enjoy!

Two large bouquets for birthday gifts....I hope they liked them 🥰🌺🌸

Need to up my game with keeping you all informed but I've been a tad busy in the garden planting out all the young plants between the rain showers.

Having a short break for a wee celebration so flowers will be found later next week again on my new flower stall!!! 😍🌺
I'm absolutely delighted with it and hope it keeps the flowers safer from the wind,rain and sun! More updates to come....

Well its a start.... beginning to get posies ready for the stall.
This bunch of ranunculus were picked before the rain came and the mouse got them 😬😆🐭🌺🌸🌼
More to appear tomorrow amidst the rain showers!

Take 2:
After the excitement of the first wedding flowers, we had a second the following week....👰🤵🏼🙌🏻💕🌸
Colour theme: Pastels
Camassias, roses, cornflower thistles, ranunculus, irises for the bouquets.
Lily of the valley, heather and thistles for the buttonholes.
Bridesmaids wore cornflower blue so luckily the cornflowers managed to produce 2 flowers, one each for the bride and groom. 😊
We used dried blue hydrangea to enhance flowers around the base.
The bride loved the Honesty leaves so fresh and dried were threaded through the flowers.
Finally I gave them an honesty plant as a gift to plant in their garden to be a forever memory of their big day! 🩵

Nervous, challenged, excited, embracing, heart warmed, delighted!
Some of the feelings I experienced last week whilst arranging wedding flowers for this beautiful couple's wedding!
The sun never stopped shining and they never stopped smiling...what a day!
What a privilege it was to be part of your special day.
